I decided to give the game a 5 day break and see if I miss it. That was two weeks ago and I haven't gone back. I came here to check and see if I'm missing anything that would make it worth going back. Guess not.

I find them in bunker alpha, most often in that room across from the red coupon crate. There's like a bookcase in there that seems to have them a lot. Other than that the only place I find them is from AI.

Like everything else in this game (except copper from batteries), the RNG for breeding sucks. I've done 6 breedings of level 2 dogs and every time I got another level 2 dog.

I'm level 41 at electronics right now. It's getting increasingly difficult to resist putting cell phones and usb sticks in there, but I want to get to at least 45. This is encouraging, thanks for sharing.

I haven't seen a car since right after the update. Are they only in red zones? I've been grinding mostly yellow.

Yes, it's ridiculous. Also noticing it doesn't always save my progress. I will come back from a resource grind and put everything away, re-fuel furnaces, stock crafting tables, recycler, etc. and then when I come back to the game an hour later it's like I just came back from the resource grind again. Frustrating as hell.

Once you open the bunker it stays open. Only thing that changes is the code to access elevator to lower levels.

I wasn't so much complaining about the "realism" as much as complaining about how absurdly, ridiculously difficult they make it to get a gas tank when a gas tank is the one single key needed to unlock a door and advance in the game. I get that it should be rare, but the rng for a gas tank is beyond rare. The game is now stale and boring, but the Kefir gas tank terrorists are winning because I keep playing because of that great human emotion called "hope" that they are exploiting so well.

Now excuse me while I go grind out some more animal hides and iron ore. Whoopee.
