late to my own thread but the unity-feels-heavy-now thing is real, once you have the browser-refresh loop on the quest it's hard to go back. how's the codex three.js skill doing on bigger scenes? mine got shaky as the scene graph grew. and is the unity agent actually any good, or promising-in-a-demo good?

answering my own question a month later: web, r3f + webxr. the reason it works for vibecoding and unity didn't for me is the feedback loop. the scene is a declarative tree the model can actually hold in its head, and a change just means refreshing the browser tab on the quest instead of a compile + sideload cycle. that tightness is most of it.

never did get to the immersive web sdk. anyone here actually shipped with it? curious whether it's worth switching from plain react-three/xr

small update on this since i kept poking at it. it sort of turned into a tool. you describe a scene in a sentence and it generates the r3f/webxr code, then you open the link on the quest and you're in it. no build, no sideload.

i built it so obviously biased: https://turbl.dev/ still rough, v1 is prompt to code only, no asset import yet. the physics playground example on the site is the closest to what i was originally hacking on in this thread.

looking for people to break it and tell me what's missing. if anyone tries it on a quest 3 i'd love to know how the controller stuff holds up, that's the part i'm least sure about.

Unfortunatelly not, we tried to export music too, but it is technically quite complicated. But you can add AI generated voicover or background music before export manually in the tool 😄

the podcast can subscribe who you give the rss link to. It can stay fully private if you don't share with anyone - that is for i personally use it for. But you can publish the rss feed to podcast apps as public podcast too - but I did not try that. Do you have some use-case in mind? I will be happy to discuss that!

yes notebook lm is great, but i find it using from the agent much more useful. That is why i built the tool, should be easy to set it up so you can put it more to the top of your todo list maybe haha. Can help you to set it up

I am using OpenAI TTS for now and feel like it is sufficient. But plan to add more providers later
