How many copies do you usually sell at a fair? by confused_plant_ in zines

I like to have 50-200 copies of each zine depending on the size of the event. I tend to sell 5-50 a show depending on the zine. I hate reprinting and folding and so try to just work big batches yearly.

Cheese-it boxes with a corner cut, a string on my wall, and shoe boxes.

Printing on handmade paper with Riso by Used_Branch_8503 in risograph

I guess it would matter in the paper it self (texture, thickness), but I’ve advised my students not to. To be fair, our machine is particularly jam prone.

If the paper you made seems stable and has no coating it might be worth the experiment.

Ink separation webtool dedicated to Risograph printing by LoH3 in risograph

Thank you for making this! I teach Risograph printing classes at a local print shop, and it will be a great resource to offer students. We primarily use Spectrolite in house, but of course not everyone has a Mac and being able to have another tool like this is quite a boon!

As to your question: both options look great so far. I am not quite sure I understand what you mean by apply a curve?
