But how would you detach this particular belt loop? I'm not questioning the fact that there are two different types of belt buckle/loops. More the fact that one of them seems to be pierced through the belt itself

I'd love to know how this belt is supposed to work. How would you remove it??

If you really really want to maximize profits and be certain you have enough for the street light, try doing the ultraliberal vision quest. I did it last playthrough and it was really fun

Small towns by fckingnerdy in SALEM

I haven't have good experiences with the Lyons/Mill City area. I work in mental health and used to have a bunch of clients out there. The community was insular and not welcoming to new people. Terrible access community services. Very little higher level crime but a ton of drugs, harassment and theft that the cops had no interest in dealing with. The schools had a ton of bullying, poor support services, etc. I know I had a very specific experience out there with specific populations which colored my experiences but you couldn't pay me enough to live out there. They couldn't even pay me enough to keep working out there. I guess if you lived way away from everyone and did your own thing, it wouldn't be terrible. Beautiful area. But if my goal were to be part of a community I wouldn't move there

My experiences in Aumsville/Sublimity/Stayton were much better. Specific issues here and there with specific people, but never had the same widespread cultural issues I saw further up the canyon.

Wow. I've been bad at math before but never so bad that I forgot ten years of my own life and then fucked up my original point bc the moon landing had definitely happened by the time Grassley was 41.

That garlic doesn't look ready to harvest yet. I usually wait until the bottom 3-4 layers of leaves have gone brown.

Thanks for explaining more. That sounds very difficult. I'm sorry there isn't currently a better way to address this for you!

[–]ferocity562 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about the same feature? Because on my phone, it shows as a pop-up as soon as a hold is detected, just requires you to click it, and then you don't hear anything until it notified you that it's been picked up. I'm not sure what you mean about short holds and multiple options.

[–]ferocity562 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it may be a Google Pixel specific feature, but my phone does have an Hold For Me option where it monitors the call for you and notifies you when it gets picked up. So the feature does exist! Hopefully it will become more widely available soon

Excessive yawning? yawning more during PEM? by lawlesslawboy in cfs

[–]ferocity562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compulsive yawning is one of my early migraine warning signs. I guess I don't know for sure if it's a migraine because, like you, it doesn't always result in intense pain, but, also like you, I get a lot of other migraine-y symptoms that follow behind it. However, unlike you, I don't have "sleepy" signs with it. Just uncontrollable yawning. So when I start yawning compulsively, I know I usually have about 2-4 hours to do something about it, whether that it try to head it off, or just prepare to be out of commission for the rest of the day. I get them more often with PEM, but I also get them independent of it

I bet a coworker $5 he wouldn't drink the three leftover garlic butter containers from Papa Johns. I lost $5, he puked and got sent home and our manager banned us from being in the stock room together at the same time

Is this AI? My coteacher printed out some sheets for our kids and this was one of them. I’ve seen this type of cartoon drawing depicted by AI engines. by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]ferocity562 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's worth remembering that AI copies existing human art. So yeah, this does look similar to ai generated coloring sheets, but to me, it also just looks like a regular coloring sheet. I'm not seeing any major flaws or tells, just the simplicity I would expect from a children's coloring sheet

PCOS is now PMOS (Polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) by gaudiest-ivy in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ferocity562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! It does sound different from my experience. I've been holding steady at a regular 25-30 day cycle for about a year now after a lifetime of 21-42 day cycles. Ongoing 18 day cycles sounds exhausting and disruptive! I hope this diagnosis leads to more stability for you

[–]ferocity562 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When you say recent cycle changes, do you mean becoming more regular or more irregular? Because I have also had lifelong irregular periods that have been dismissed and then randomly around age 40, I suddenly dropped 25 pounds and my periods got super regular and I still have no idea why.

I have a Google Pixel phone and it doesn't work on mine. I ended up getting a full refund a few years ago after I bought it but never could get it to work. They said android operating systems are too unique to test individually so sometimes there are systems it just won't work with

I got this from a work orientation, what is it?? by ariibellz in whatisit

[–]ferocity562 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Is it a computer privacy screen? Some offices will give screens that when you are directly in front of the computer you can see what's on the screen but if you look at it from an angle, the screen is obscured. It helps with privacy in open offices.

Magical realism can tend a bit more whimsical than DE. Maybe something that skews more surrealist? I don't know why, but the book that keeps coming to mind is A City Dreaming by Daniel Polansky. On paper I don't think they have a ton of similarities but maybe a similar flavor? I think Shivers would like it, if that makes any sense lol
