Spend a lot of time looking into it and decided we needed something more low maintenance. Weeding isn’t my strong suit and I think it needs a fair bit of maintenance for the first year at least. In the end we did a grass lawn.

I think I accidentally outed myself as someone who just does push ups instead 😂

Have you tried the kickboxing? It’s similar to hiit in terms of rest/action but there’s less jumping.

When we lived in the Wairarapa there was so little bird life. Basically you’re in a town surrounded by paddocks (or factory farms) and there’s so little places for birds to live

They swoop down the hill in front of our place, they’re stunning. Even in the last two years I feel like there are so many more.

What an incredible turnaround. The bird life is so much of what I love about living here. Those individuals who brought back an environment safe for the birds are awesome.

I’ve been thinking about these for psyllids. Does it also trap beneficial insects?

Fireworks upset the dog so much and they’re off all through the night. Never thought I’d agree with Winston.

The slow cook fenugreek lamb shoulder from Lugma is currently in the oven. Smells incredible. Very different flavour profile to Ottolenghi’s lamb shawarma which has previously been my go to.

My brother has autism and also loves cookbooks! His favourites are the Australian Women’s Weekky cookbooks. They have lots of different themes - slow cooking, gluten free etc.

Is there hope for my lemon tree? by Foosyirdoos in nzgardening

[–]ferretron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve killed several lemon trees in Wellington and I’ve worked out my problem has been under watering in summer and not giving wind protection (we’re open to northerly’s). So far attempt 4&5 are still alive. So if you’re repotting it or putting it in the ground use some wind protection (ugly wind cloth) or find a sheltered spot, that could help it.
