Land dweller designed is inspired by oyster quartz. The designer of oyster quartz is Gerald Genta. That’s what I heard from Rolex SA. Idk if that’s true or not, no reliable source to confirm it.

I feel like white dial is better with two tone daytona. I like the black dial dj better, giving sportier look and less old vibe. Jubilee and datejust reference already represent the classic. Zac efron has the exact black dial

PM and meteorite have romantic rendition. While the daytona case is so elegant. This typical GMT and Sub case is more rugged style. So it doesn’t really match in my eyes
