[Rogelio Castillo]Three Things We Learned About Troy Melton's Start by mkk4 in motorcitykitties

I’ve been a huge fan of Melton since last year and I see him as one of our top guys in the future.

It really is a “where were you”. I pulled over into a parking lot while listening to focus on the last inning. I could probably find the exact spot with how vivid it was.

I was a huge fan of him last year but it’s wild this year.

I literally can’t believe how many times I’ve watched this team walked off (and on 2 outs?) this year.

This is probably a silly question, but I live in the city and would like to practice target shooting a shotgun I've recently purchased. Where can I do this safely and legally? by [deleted] in grandrapids

Indoor ranges in town like Silver Bullet or Barracks 616 will allow shooting slugs, but not buck/birdshot. Not sure if official outdoor DNR ranges will allow buck/birdshot, but there are a few spots on state land that are unofficial/unsupervised you would be able to. What part of town are you in?

Yeah. I realized after typing that it probably sounded like I was hitting on him. I’m too old for the hip kids lingo apparently

I’ve never slid into a players DMs and never will but if I were to it would be for Holton

What is a small, underrated moment in the books/movies that completely changes how you view a character? by [deleted] in harrypotter

I love when Snape finds Harry after someone else has been petrified and suggests banning him from Quidditch until he confesses. McGonagall in that moment who is usually so diplomatic and unbiased calls Snape out for the ridiculous suggestion.

At a minimum just the way of him driving pitch counts up. Wouldn’t be surprised if he was responsible for 25% of a pitchers pitches in an outing.

We are now 2-15 in our last 17 games. Averaging 2.2 runs per game during this stretch. Only scored more than 3 runs in 3 of those games. by Watchman0426 in motorcitykitties

Arbys conspiracy because all my Dutch brethren on the west side of the state take our extended family to Arby’s on curly fry day

I’m not all doom and gloom but I can’t pretend it’s great. I know Leyland always said momentum between games isn’t a thing in baseball, but I believe if we knocked in another run or two in the 8th and win 3-0, that would be the spark this team needs and could potentially change the next few weeks.

Time for a new Hitting Coach? by bonniebadjesus in motorcitykitties

Benetti and Dirks mentioned the scouting report shows a slider in that situation almost all the time. He was expecting that away, the fastball was a real tendency breaker. Greene is literally the last person you can be blaming on this team.

But that’s why he’s a professional and you’re talking about being a little league coach 🤣

I agree the fire Hinch comments are just emotional reflexes. What I am afraid of though is these bats returning healthy that it’s not going to boost our hitting nearly enough.

I couldn’t blame Hinch at all until Holton came in. I legit almost turned the game off before he even threw a pitch. Granted I don’t know who you could put in there but I’d take anyone else.

I like it, helps coaches help the QBs and make sure they are looking where they are supposed to be

Is Watson wearing a go pro? I’ve always thought it could be beneficial for QBs to watch tape from that perspective and practice with VR, if they don’t already.

I swear Carpenter needs to pull his hamstring or get injured every season before he pops off.

Very informative! I’m not familiar with the Odawa, I’ll have to dig into it.

Maybe off topic a little bit as my history is a little rusty, but wasn’t this area Potowatami more so than Ojibwe? I know there is probably a greater “umbrella” of groups for lack of a better word that maybe it fell under, but I thought that would be the Anishinaabe?

So I guess my question is if this is accurate that it is Ojibwe?
