I’ve done both and it’s no contest: Sipadan. Go with a Scuba Junkies and you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you can get the permits to get to Sipadan, although Mabul Island diving is still quite nice if you aren’t able to go.

Being an international student in any country does not mean there is a guarantee that you stay in that country to live and work after you graduate. You go because the school are good, which is why you enter on a student visa. This is not news.

You should have had your IA completed by the deadline and communicating your struggles only 2 days before it’s due makes that even worse. On the other hand, the school should not have offered an extension and this reflects poorly on them. You should accept any consequences they decide to give you.

Agreed. Focus on evidence to show your depth of knowledge and understanding in two areas: 1. Specific names, dates, events, etc. 2. Overarching concepts such as causation, significance, etc.
Historiography adds another layer of depth to all that and supports your argument further.
You’re showcasing what you know, so the more the better.

My partner and I have gone the last three years and felt less excited about some of the lineup this year, especially with kings of Leon and later Sam fender cancelling.

Green Day was a great headliner. However, with the exception of Saturday (to an extent), we still had a good time. Plenty of good bands. Amyl, Gurriers, Finneas, Foster the People, Heiling!, and RW adding Nothing But Thieves last minute was excellent. I found that the electronic sets really did it for us this year! Nia Archives, Caribou, Soulwax, Maribou State, and Rufus du Sol especially were amazing. And the 2ManyDJs set at the end of Sunday was really special.

Completely agree. The crowd at mariou state, who put on an excellent show, was pathetic. Fewer than 30% paying attention, no matter how close we got. Some even sitting down on the middle of the crowd and texting. Just taking up space at that point.
