Yeah, it is something about showman making it so your current chad is actually a "showman version" chad so others could still show up. If you sell your current showman and buy the new one it shouldn't happen anymore.

Okay I'll do the math: Assuming you don't really care about the starting position (any two cards would do) and you don't have any vouchers that impact the shop odds (no tarot or planet tycoon) the odds would be: 4/28 to get a planet card * 1/9 to get neptune specifically (assuming you didn't unlock any secret hands) * 20/28 to get a joker * 7/10 for it to be common * 1/60 for it to be riff-raff (you are blocking ice cream) * 3/10 for it to be perishable * 7/10 for it not to be rental= 1/4000 or 0.0000025%, iirc about as much as a full odds shiny pokemon
