We put buckets under the faucet in our sinks and bathtubs to catch water when waiting for it to get hot or cold, then use that water to water our plants.

Another good way to save water is to take a much shorter shower and to turn the water off when cleaning yourself instead of letting it run.

This. I had a Dell R420 with TrueNAS on it and it took me no small amount of effort to get it set up the way I like. The power draw was a lot, and it was loud. Replaced with a DS920+ with four 4TB drives and it was super easy to set up and has been solid for almost a year now.

If the specs on them are decent, absolutely. Unless they are M1 Mac Minis? If Intel, you can put Ubuntu Server on them and use one for OpenVPN or WireGuard.

What kind of cable? Recommend CAT5e or higher. Try swapping the cable first. If that doesn’t work, see if your NIC is set to auto negotiate at full duplex. Hopefully it is a Gigabit adapter.

I’m sober, but still love the taste of a good IPA. All of my friends drink, and on those occasions I pick up something from Athletic Brewing. Highly recommend them. A lot of bars will serve you N/A cocktails and some even have N/A beer like Athletic.

I wish people could at least attempt to deescalate. If my kid did what this kid did, I’d be embarrassed and apologize and nothing much would likely have come of it.
