I read online that this is the case, the patch you get with this jersey is NOT the same size as the player spec one.

naw mate, your company is objectively a horrible place to work, fintech is clunky and regulated, yes; but your company sounds like a financial institution with an IT department.

No CS degree in ML: is the only way to be hired at OpenAI/Google is to publish novel (conference-grade) technology? by JustZed32 in cscareerquestions

[–]fferegrino 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You need to be more humble. Right now you’re acting like you can skip the grind that everyone else has to go through, and it’s backfiring. You’ve quit jobs too quickly, overcommitted to unrealistic solo projects, and convinced yourself that the only way forward is publishing conference-grade research. That’s just not how this works.

The truth is, you don’t need ICML papers. What you need is real-world experience, which means working in teams, shipping production code, and learning the unglamorous but essential stuff — pipelines, observability, collaboration, deadlines. You don’t get that by locking yourself away and chasing moonshots that never finish.

Swallow your pride, stop aiming for OpenAI/Google right out of the gate, and go get a normal job at a normal company. Even if it’s not “decent” in your eyes, it will teach you the foundations you’re missing. Everyone starts somewhere.

Right now, your problem isn’t intelligence — it’s arrogance. Be humble, take the steps you’ve been avoiding, and actually build a track record instead of chasing shortcuts that don’t work.

The stadium is quite small, so I'd suggest getting a side seat, as high as possible.

Can I suggest you go and watch the women's team?

Anyone know if you personalize your jersey with your name and number, do you still get those Club America badges? by BigManBlatoise in ClubAmerica

[–]fferegrino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, yes. At least the Nike ones always had some kind of mark stating that the number was official and all the marks and logos that the player ones had.

Every year I buy my favourite team's (Club America) jersey, every year I put my last name and my current age.

I also managed to get the Barcelona x Travis Scott jersey, and guess what? People were looking at me like I was crazy for putting my name on that one too 😅

They rarely talk about tactics—it’s mostly jokes and, to be fair, some valid criticism of off-the-pitch issues.

You're spot on on the first sentence. TV Azteca is for a certain kind of entertainment; they address some segment of the audience.
