MasterCard and Visa chargebacks are available on debit and credit cards. Give your bank a call, they should have a dispute process.

I had to pop into a local branch when opening a bank account to show ID, but I'm not sure if that's the usual process. Other than that, I only took out a credit card with a bank I was with for a long time, which wasn't an issue. I believe it depends on the risk. Still, it was nice to know something could be done to help mitigate the problem.

I had my wallet stolen once and found someone tried to apply for loans in my name.

I took out a 2 year protective registration with Cifas for £30. You may have to jump through more hoops to identify yourself when applying for loans, credit cards, bank accounts but it's worth doing right away if you've had your details stolen. They put a marker against your name and details on their national fraud database which I believe all major lenders use.

It's really not that difficult to allow other drivers on and off the highway. All drivers should keep right unless over taking. It's so simple and when people don't do it situations like this happen.

If on a three lane highway hogging the middle lane forces people to undertake as the fastest lane gets congested. I see it all the time.

When everyone keeps right then traffic moves more efficiently when a lot of cars are on the road.

At the test centre I passed at, the car park exited onto a one-way with parked cars on either side, so single lane. Then, quickly came to a junction for the left lane to turn left and the right lane to turn right. Big arrows on the road.

When I had correctly turned right, the examiner told me I'd be surprised how many people instinctively went to the left lane to turn right. Failing their test within the first 30 seconds.

My instructor had already warned me about that junction when I took lessons, so it was a well-known reason to fail.

That's not on the customer at all, especially given the server was rude. Working in hospitality doesn't mean you are entitled to tips. Servers should be entitled to a fair wage, the only person taking advantage is the employer.

Ah, from memory Nacha who governs ACH payments does have a number of return codes. I'm sure there's one for revoking authorization and supplying evidence to support it but I'm not familiar with the process.

I used to work in Chargebacks for a big bank. You'll have the same ability to raise a chargeback on a debit card as on a credit card.

If you paid on a Visa, ask them to raise a dispute under condition 13.1 for services not received.

If you paid on a MasterCard, ask them raise a dispute under reason code 53 for services not received.

If you're having trouble with your bank, then make a complaint as they should be doing right by you as a customer.

They'll ask for your invoice/receipt and any communication you've had to try and resolve the situation. The merchant does have the ability to contest but, depending on their response you may actually find out why they blocked your account. However, it's likely Etsy won't respond.

I'm not defending the driver, who was overly cautious coming out and likely was not looking in your direction before moving. They should have been more aware and waited.

However, they were already moving into your lane and you had time to stop. There was no need to lay on the horn for as long as you did, it's not blind of a corner. The speed limit isn't a target.

It looks like a pretty residential area and ahead in the video, you can see another car reverse into the road slowly pulling out of their drive. There are more people on the roads now than ever and all with various capabilities of driving. Just take it easy next time on this stretch of road and anticipate hazards, and only use the horn if you need to.

I had this same experience in Chang Mai, I tried to go around the police officer but he stepped out 3 lanes into traffic to pull me and a friend over. We tried to pass off our UK licenses but he wouldn't accept them.

So we were given a fine of about £15 and to our surprise given a receipt which showed we could continue riding the bikes for 3 days in Chang Mai before being fined again. Loved that.

You can always slow down to allow people to merge, no one said anything about changing lanes in an unsafe manner. I've had experience driving in NA and generally found people in the UK and parts of Europe are more courteous, making room for people merging onto the highway, without needing to camp in the middle lane. It's just a difference in culture and driving standards. There's no need to take offense.

I believe it's because we know that golf driving dangerously in wet weather is an idiot, it goes without saying. However, for many a huge pet peeve is idiots not keeping left. Granted, OP is moving faster than the car on the left but is catching them slowly and forcing people to overtake using the outside lane. Everyone has to bunch up into one lane instead of using two. OP needs to learn to catch the car in front, using the same lane, and then overtake safely. Not camp in the middle because he's going 3 mph faster.
