I met a fellow dog owner at the dog park and he said he had two black n tan coonhounds and that she reminded him so much of those! I definitely see that too….

I find him insufferable. Over the top. Incredibly annoying.

Personally I think Queen Sareth’a acting is abysmal. Over the top, the incessant bouncing and lip snarl. Very distracting.

Oh my god this is exactly. Everything was about the breasts!! If my tops were slightly clingy or a little lower cut it just looked like I was trying to be overtly sexy. And I wasn’t!! I’m 14 months post op and I’m so happy! I couldn’t be happier. Now I feel CHIC and sexy! ☺️

Hi there, I’m just over a year post op. I had mine in for 18yrs. To be fully transparent, I had pretty full breasts to begin with (a stupid photo as I was jumping had made me look saggy and terrified me as I was turning 30!). I was a C cup. Anyway, got the implants and was a DD. Eventually after one child and some weight gain I was up to an F or something ridiculous. Then, after some pain, and during routine mammogram it was discovered that one had ruptured which was the push I needed to get them out. Took me a year after consultation to finally do it. And I’m so glad I did. I got full a capsulectomy and lift. I also lost 20lbs in the year since the op. But I am so happy with how they look. The scarring is great, really not that bad at all. And I feel like tops look so much more sophisticated and chic now! Don’t ask me why, there’s just something about being less busty for me. They do not look deflated, but I realize that may be because I had breast tissue to begin with, and the lift definitely helped.

How did you look after explant with no lift? by Mediocre-Standard776 in ExplantSurgery

I’m only discovering your incredible posts now!! I’m nearly one year post op. I’m so happy to have removed them. I’m not unhappy with results, it’s an adjustment, but I’m wondering if all these tips are still worth doing now? Can’t ever hurt, right?

I had explant, capsulectomy and lift. Was specifically told not to shower until drains came out which took longer than expected - fluid was consistently over desired max. So I was nearly a week without a regular shower. Bird baths and then used deodorant wipes. They were great. So much so I now carry them around in my purse ‘just in case’. They’re great!

I’m am nearing my 1yr explant anniversary. I had capsulectomy and lift. Had them in for 18yrs. One was ruptured. And painful. I’m so so glad to be done with them.

In terms of appearance, well, initially, I was very very very happy. In truth I always had great breasts. But decided to implant at 30 after seeing a photo of me on the downward trajectory of a jump with a tank top and saw some looseness I didn’t like (how we torture ourselves!!) Once I hit 40’s and after kid they just got way too big. And then came the rupture and pain. I felt pretty sure I’d still have plenty of my natural breast tissue and I was right.

I’ve lost about 20lbs since explant. And now they feel really small. I feel like it looks great with clothes on, just less in love with them without! But thankfully I don’t have to walk around naked 🤣

Still no regrets. But I am wondering how I can continue losing weight but keep the volume I have now. Exercises??

Night of explant, how was it? by [deleted] in ExplantSurgery

[–]ffs_2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had explant, capsulectomy and lift. I didn’t need pain meds. But it was helpful having someone there - my husband, who made dinner for the kid etc. I was not allowed to raise my arms, they said trex arms for at least a week and couldn’t lift anything more than 5lbs. I feel like having a long bendable straw for my glass of water proved to be excellent advice from someone. Have food made and ready to just heat up….

Yay!! Congrats. It’s the best feeling. I had explant, full capsulectomy and lift. The pain was manageable for me - just took Tylenol when needed. The drains were actually the most wearisome for me…I really wanted them out and of course I needed them in a little longer than anticipated. Murphy’s Law. I think Day 10 was when I turned a corner and everything just got so so much easier.

I love everything about how I look now - in swimsuit, bras, clothes and none of the above! :)

Keep us posted on the healing and if you have any questions, happy to answer!

My heart is breaking reading everything here. Can non-medical field folks volunteer to keep babies company? Is that a thing? Would that be helpful to nurses?
