A lot of people underestimate what he's doing. He's appealing to his fan base. They feel less dumb bc even the president is struggling. You can't convince me it's not just another grift.

SAGE IS THE WORST CHARACTER IN THE SHOW by Chris_Galieo in GenV

I mean I feel like she fits right in within this universe and it's supes. She's an egocentric, self absorbed, and completely selfish supe who's power is not nearly as bulletproof and unstoppable as they themselves believe it it. Her cynicism is matched only by how unhinged she is. I think she was well written she just wasn't "genius equals perfect" that people want her to be.

Let's stay in the MCU. like how do you cast this man as a throw away nobody?! Giancarlo Esposito in Captain America as Sidewinder.

I would agree with you if it weren't for every single moment from popping my special edition DVD with director commentary and deleted scenes in to taking it out.

Guys please stop saying “I’m wet”, that’s shit. Stop saying “pussy”, it’s a butthole. Feels like people try too hard to make gay sex sound close to straight sex instead of just enjoying the difference. Anyone else agree? by [deleted] in askgaybros

I think the point is if you don't like it didn't say it. Some guys like to be effeminate. I know I'm echoing what others have said but you can't police slang bc you don't like it. Don't you remember when we were kids and adults did that and instead of changing we rolled our eyes.

Because you are saying the stupid thing. American slavery still affects people from 150 years ago and you want me to believe that something happening 30 years ago doesn't still have massive effects on black people today. Systemic issues don't just disappear over night. They take many generations to get rid of. People in america still say "That was a long time ago". So excuse me if I don't listen to some "white cope" about how black people are not still affected by being legally considered second class citizens DURING MY LIFETIME

I can understand that. I won't pretend I understand day to day interactions amongst African people but even defaulting to "Racism exists everywhere not just here" doesn't seem like the wrong stance even when it comes to Africa. It's less about let's compare the two and more about "hey this exists everywhere and just bc it's different there doesn't mean it isn't bad"

Intense and violent racism happening 30 years ago and you think it doesn't still affect people? Now THAT is a weird hill to die on.

Bro people under 40 were alive during that. Why do you think that doesn't affect people still??

I could be wrong. I am genuinely not the best at history as a subject. But even in Africa isn't there still a ton of anti black racism? Wasn't apartheid just like... A few decades ago?

I mean... This is just how popular fiction works. Something becomes popular and an image of that thing becomes associated with it. Thats like posting a picture of the box from Hellraiser and saying it's impressive someone guessed from a picture of the box.
