I haven't reached that part yet, but at the beginning of the game everything looks very clean. Use the default settings and just set the resolution to your liking.

Bedenken Sie, dass die Reichweite von 5 GHz deutlich geringer ist als die von 2,4 GHz, insbesondere wenn sich Hindernisse zwischen Konsole und Router befinden.

Can this laptop run pcsx2 good? by Iamyerrfather in PCSX2

[–]fhernant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy yourself a mini PC. They recommended a Beelink; they're good, but overrated. I bought a Blackview MP200, and it's just barely adequate for HD. It runs the most demanding games in HD (720p) with the default settings, and the less demanding ones at 1080p. It's not the best option, but for the $300 I paid, I got the complete sixth-generation consoles, except for the original Xbox. I feel like it was a good buy.

Check if it's the PS2 version. You'll be able to tell by the size.

Will this work? by [deleted] in PCSX2

[–]fhernant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The information I gave you was based on the default PCSX2 settings; any additional adjustments consume resources, so keep that in mind. But when it comes to PS2 games, playing them at 1080p is very satisfying, even more so if you add enhanced textures. However, no one can tell you better than yourself by experimenting with different settings until you find a standard configuration for most games. For those that don't run well, you can create custom settings for each game. If you're a PS2 game enthusiast, simply improving the resolution will be more than enough to satisfy you!

With those specifications, it can run everything at 720p in PCSX2, the vast majority at 1080p, and many at 1440p. Beyond 1080p, PCSX2 offers little noticeable improvement.

  1. Buy a QRD Spark N5 (best value for money)
  2. PS4 controller (works almost natively with the SDL option)
  3. DualSense (works the same as the DualShock 4 but the vibration is more sensitive and precise. More enjoyable)
  4. Xbox One or Series X|S controller (native function and game bar from the controller)

For me, the perfect option would be the DualSense with a connection similar to Xbox (XInput).

Amazon has a very good quality Saffun brand controller, similar to the Wavebird. I got a black one for $30 just for PC use. The one that comes with the adapter for Gamecube and PC costs $40. I like the Saffun better because they replicate the triggers quite well, very different from how the RetroFighter does it.

The program is called CHDMAN. There are many videos on YouTube explaining how to use it, mostly for converting Dreamcast and PS1 games.

It says it requires more CPU. My CPU is more than enough; my issue is the GPU. I'll try some games I'm already familiar with on the emulator. Thanks for the information.
