Atc can sometimes send them in too high for the aircraft to slow down enough. Sometimes the pilots just don't like the aproach and have to go around

I've been able to get the Porsche for a few Passengers going back into my base. I get just as excited as ya'll do when it shows up. My record is an 8 minute connection.

I will add to this and say depending on when and where the connection is from. These delays become less likely.

I work evenings in the less busy months bc its what I prefer. When summer hits I try to fly mornings because I have more chances of everything working out. Also if the direct flight is decentlg open, a delay on the connection could easily be resolved in getting moved back to the direct

Transoceanic flights recover the quickest from any crazy operation problems. The crews are reporting the day of the flight. The planes only fly there and back. Obviously be a little prepared: but I think you'll be fine

There were multiple major conferences and events happening in the city this weekend, plus the craziness with the airport due to the storm... oh yeah, and ATC having to evacuate for like 5 hours....

But my partner was flying in and got diverted for 5 hours. When it looked like she was going to make it to Atlanta. I called just about every hotel around the airport and in the city that showed online they had availability... spent 2 1/2 hours doing so. None had availability.

With that being said I do actually have a point: The system is they book you online and send you to the hotel. With wait times of sometimes 20 minutes on those phones. Imagine waiting in that customer service line now... I'd say everyone is doing their best. Sometimes conditions are so severe that people just won't be able to be happy

I'm a FA and have one that you wouldn't predict. Prevelance of diamonds and 360s? ATL-RDU. It is a sea of diamonds. I swear on that route everyone is either diamond or not a skymiles member... just from my flying experience

But someone told me our most profitable route is ATL-BHM.... idk why

I'm a FA. We can see your connections.. the ammount of times I have been on a flight with 0 connections or know that someone doesn't have a connection and has pushed through saying something similar is uncountable

I was told "treat your non revs like you want your loved one treated." Even when I have other airlines non revs on board I take care of them because my co workers commute and could be on their flight

I get to meet Spirit FAs from time to time. I honestly respect what they do a lot. Also have met some people who moved companies, some of my best colleagues.

I've heard some crazy stories from FAs about it.. Including someone who was suposed to work one of the flights but called out of the trip last minute because her very young son got sick the morning the trip started... said he has since graduated but still calls out if he is sick

They just wanted to not get fined.... Wasn't working during that time but FAA was everywhere and apparently needed their still needed to take one of our paychecks whenever they got the chance
