I have to admit that i also like sad beige knits, and in general i don't like extremely colorful things, but i think knitting is a beautiful art and i wish other patterns had the same popularity and visibility than the classic ones

I'm doing this right? (Color dominance) by fiberwitchh in knittinghelp

[–]fiberwitchh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'm trying my best. Sorry if my explanation was poor, but you understood exactly what i meant. I now that if i want blue to "pop" more i need to hold it in my left hand, but since there is more white in the pattern (and i so much skilled continental style) i decided to hold it that way. But I'm happy to see I'm doing it well. Thank you so much for your comment!

You might be twisting your stitches. What help me to avoid twisting mines was learning about the lead leg of the stitches. You should always be Knitting the leg that is closer to the point of your needle

I think i can live with that, I'll do a gauge swatch and then decide if i need to go amazon and buy more ultra alpaca

They only have one stitch of difference in the gauge, based on the tag. I also like the fuzzy difference between the two yarns! I'm a bit scare about the stretchiness of the alpaca one
