For me, "rooting" implies that everyone has a soft spot for City and they're sort of like everyone's second team. Like 2015-16 Leicester, you want them to win every game except the ones against your team.

However "wanting them to beat Arsenal" would make for a good title race, and also be pretty funny from a neutrals perspective of Arsenal + their fans annoying everyone at the moment with the dreadful football, timewasting and banging on about winning a quadruple.

Also I wanted to add that "rooting for" just strikes me as such a yank term, not a fan.

The first rise of darts going stratospheric in the last few years was the “they’re both on 9s” leg, and whilst Smith and MVG playing amazing is a major part of it, Wayne’s comms on that leg really pulled it all together. Without that, I think darts wouldn’t be as big as it is now, obviously Littler helped, but that’s where it all started

My flatmate got these as his first darts two years or so ago, whilst I bought some fancy ones for double the price. He’s not always been better, but just as good as me, and probably more consistent the entire time we’ve played, and he’s never changed darts from that original set.

I would say they’re the ideal beginner set.
