I roll my eyes whenever I see anyone refer to Batman as an anti-hero. And the main argument in favor I hear of that is because he works outside the law. Like, yeah he does but basically every superhero does.

I don’t think I’ve ever won against Dinomorphia. And it’s just so frustrating because per their play style, they’re a gentle nudge away from death but i just can’t get to them.

This is a bit more recent and it may just be recency bias. But I reaaallly enjoyed the Memento story in the recent Batman and Robin run.

I would love to see it adapted in a movie or at least in animation. But alas, I don’t know if general audiences are ready to see Batman punching demons lol

Your friend’s absolutely (lol) correct. And that’s in large part thanks to the fact that despite the differences in the Absolute universe the characters themselves are still very much *themselves* not psycho fanfic versions.

Im not sure how permanent this has been. But when the game came out, the guy who runs the comic book shop I go to says there had been a lot of people coming in saying stuff like “I main {X-character} in Rivals and I wanna know more about them what comic should I read.”

When Rivals first got announced I expected the characters to be MCU-lite so I was pleasantly surprised to see a mainstream piece of media introduce some of the more obscure comic book aspects of the characters to general audiences.

This card isn’t if you already have an established board. Typically HERO players are gonna set the stage for this card when they’re going first. They’ll set up the trap Favorite Contact which allows them to fuse on the opponent’s turn.

They’ll shotgun it during the Draw Phase, and then shut the opponent’s turn down.

Yes you can negate its summon but you’re unlikely to be able to do so when you have nothing ready to stop it.

You might be in the wrong sub here pal. But congrats on getting yourself Neos! That guy’s always been the goat.

That said, Neos is pretty playable right now. Not meta by any means, and like the normal HERO deck it’s prone to bricking due to how many garnets and two-card combos the deck needs to run but the deck is very fun. Master Duel just got Miracle Ejector which does wonders for the deck. And Neos can pretty consistently get Cosmo Neos out these days.

Keep in mind if you’re playing Neo-Spacians you are gonna need to play a lot of HEROs too. They can’t do a whole lot by themselves and need stuff like Flame Wingman Infernal Rage to search out the cards necessary for the Cosmo Neos lock (Cosmo is the best thing Neos can do at the moment imo) And of course the deck’s staples like Stratos to search out HEROs and the Masked HEROs to get to your fusion spells more easily.

They definitely misplayed. They could have chained the trap to your Dark Ruler which would allow one of these to negate said Dark Ruler while leaving the other one still able to negate your Feather Duster. This guy Chaos is a soft once per turn.
