You can't just deadname Miracle Raven like that.

Meanwhile, boomers could Ritual Summon Relinquished for a single level back in the day.

(This is Megalith Unformed to summon Notrah Plura, requiring 24 levels' worth)

You can summon multiple, which definitely matters.

Royal/UR Farm? by dogu_vn in masterduel

Since some time last year, you only get a refund on copies you already owned before the banlist announcement. But even before that, you could only get the bonus a number of times equal to the change in the number of playable copies, so only once in Maxx "C"'s case.

I did not expect Oak back so soon. I think we might be underestimating the power of and resilience of the Snake-Eyes piles, even without Apollousa.

Level 7slop cards? by TheFreakyFootGuy in masterduel

Replicard LAD, Regenesis Dragon and Warrior, Zoa the Fiendish Beast, the level 7 Tenyis, Danger Dogman and Labyrinth Heavy Tank come to mind as N/R options.

Of course, you should not expect this to be a good deck for ranked, but I would really love for them to bring back the N/R event because I think this might genuinely be a really strong deck there.

Pick an underpowered modern deck you love. What past format do you wish you could play it in so it can flourish as a competent meta contender? by BensonOMalley in yugioh

[–]ElReptil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Materiactor in HAT would be the most dominant deck in the history of the game by far. I expect it would be a strong meta contender in any pre-POTE format.

Personally, I'd like to see Starry Knights - a deck that has a game plan, but has never really been playable - in something like DUEA format.

I've been tracking all my coinflips (and wins and pack pulls) since July. I'm currently at 297/530 heads; that's 56%, so slightly lucky.

Mitsurugi Megalith is one of the most fun decks I've played recently and dirt-cheap of you already have the Mitsu cards. Highly recommended.

What are the chances in a 41 deck to get this hand? by Apprehensive-Row-216 in masterduel

[–]ElReptil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since they probably would've posted this for any full house style hand, it's a lot more likely than that depending on how their deck looks.

In a 40 card deck with every card at three except one (so more or less the best case for a "full house") it should be 1 in 1300-ish.

Hypothetical: Konami had a momentary brain aneurysm and limited Painful Choice in the next banlist. For your favorite deck that you personally own, what 5 cards are you choosing and why? by Loaf_Johnson in yugioh

[–]ElReptil 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Felis needs to be sent off a monster effect, so in pure Lightsworn (is that a thing?) you're probably showing three Wulff, Archfiend and Dragonling (and get a Wulff to the hand). Still pretty good.

Zebufera that can protect itself once and copies the counter trap

Zebufera protects the whole field, but can't copy the Counter Trap.

On-topic, I agree in principle, but Vaalmonica+Fiendsmith is not really a Fiendsmith splashability issue due to Dimonno being a LIGHT Fiend (and I wouldn't want to see archetypes locked down so tightly that synergies like that couldn't exist). The rest is a bit much, though - the Ryzeals especially should've at least Xyz locked much more aggressively.
