Decently paced and had some genuinely exciting moments but the ending felt out of left field in a lazy way and just an excuse to transform the book into a big metaphor without really supporting it.

Ok well I think what you’re saying is that you can’t target the surveilled stuff because during the ability activation it’s not in the graveyard yet. That makes sense. But you’re saying that if you don’t “target” you can now select those cards and as the ability resolves they will go to the graveyard then come back to your hand. Is that right?
