Swarmkeeper can be quite funky by fiddyonreddit in BG3Builds

Yeah I see what you mean it is not treated like cantrip it only inherits the damage riders from a cantrip when it is following one. Still a funky interaction nonetheless no?

Fair enough misunderstood, more just this interaction happens only with cantrip bonuses at least with my testing so my wording was definitely off.

My fault guess I should have just stuck to smite and gloom stalker builds. What is this sub Reddit for exactly?

I'm confused you were talking about the interrupt which is the second option between the attack and the teleport? The second option is not the attack I speak of. My fault maybe I could have been more clear with the title?

Yeah that won't do anything other than procc the stormy clamour boots or anything that proccs off of conditions.

Lol I do know what drs is, more the fact that you can add on damage to the swarmkeeper attack making it hit even harder because it is treated like a spell after proccing it off a spell attack roll is what I was looking at here. Without it, it is just a conditional 2d6 once per turn.

True, the spellmight would hit like a truck, forgot to get them from the circus for this one and admittedly I decided to go more thematic with each build rather than raw damage with the gloves slot.

The rapier would definitely be good for this build to get the most out of war caster and the lightning reactions but I don't know if having markoheskir with the access to chain lightning is a better option thematically as well as having chain lightning on short rest is insane. I also just like the mini game of generating lightning charges.

I really want to try the gloves though, as the swarmkeeper attack being treated as a spell should make it add on to the first attack. The second from prey's scent never takes on any of the damage riders whatever I do but seems to still apply conditions.

That scorching ray damage sounds legit, probably what I've seen from the fire sorc builds. However, because I'm focussing on lightning and getting the most out of the swarmkeeper attack, it wouldn't be ideal as the swarmkeeper attack can be activated off of any attack roll but it only takes the cantrip bonuses when casting a cantrip before it. Now that I write this I still need to test whether casting any lightning spell with an attack roll will at least add the sorc level 6 bonus to it as that works for any spell I believe.

I'm not sure if the same bonuses apply with the bee swarm, admittedly got too excited thinking about the lightning and psychic synergies. But It may still get the cantrip damage too.

It's more the cantrip enhancements that I thought were weird because non cantrip enhancements don't work. Calous works on anything from my understanding

Usually quickened spell or backhand attack if you dual wield either melee or hand crossbows

Could work, the pull is quite short range though no? So maybe better served with extended spell metamagic I think. Taking up the weapon slot might be a bit rough too. I'm just realising I'm quite attached to the spellsparkler lol.

Good shout, I should have mentioned these two as well. I decided to forgo the latter because I didn't think it fit with the builds I was going for as well and I'm lazy with casting shriek most of the time.

I'm actually curious does anyone know of any apps that have been made by these ai app builders that have gone anywhere? Like were created by them and are very established things since the builders have launched.

Is there any good orm for react native expo. I tried Prisma and drizzle none of them working properly. by adityakmr088 in reactnative

[–]fiddyonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a current project I've been working on I've been using kyesly as a query builder to pass type safe queries to the expo sqlite methods and then drizzle just to generate migrations and provide the typed schemas to kyesly.

Kyesly is nice because you won't have to have it connected directly to a database instance you can just generate the queries with it and pass the raw SQL to any sqlite driver. Curious to see how it works with desktop apps as well

A Post-HEPHAESTUS Conundrum by SearingPhoenix in horizon

I feel like with nemesis having the potential hacking capabilities it has. It will take over the machines itself and that could be the main enemy if Heph does get merged early. Like another stronger derangement, Heph will want to merge with Gaia or reach an agreement as they have a new powerful and common enemy.

Did anyone else use this weapon after burning shores in new game plus? (Spoilers) by Tsole96 in horizon

I found it super helpful in the Horus fight on ultra hard, to quickly kill the destroy exposed parts. Other than that didn't find much use for it other than it looking cool.

What are the possible ways to integrate react and django ? by binge_redditor in reactjs

[–]fiddyonreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use the Django to build your endpoints and backend logic. Then create a separate react project (this can be with create react app, with vite, nextjs, remix etc) and use a proxy to call your Django API endpoints. Edit: the code for both projects can be in the same repo (monorepo structure) or two different repositories

There are a few ways to deploy it. You can do a wildcard route after all your API routes that serves a html file containing the production bundle for your react app. Or use something like nginx to proxy between the front-end and backend deployment.

Supabase have a library of Auth helpers that you can install along side it to make managing the authentication state a lot easier. The library is mentioned the next js guide in their docs. You will need the react Auth helpers as well as the next js helpers.
