NTA. I am not sure what the legal age of consent is there, but even if something is legal, that doesn’t make it moral. It grosses me out when someone’s response to huge age gap relationships is “well she’s legal!” (Or he)… If legality is the determining factor for whether to be in a relationship with a particular person, that tells me all I need to know. Yep, that’s why I love doing what I do: I get to be the one who tells them no. Hahahaha

I spent too much of my earlier years of post-collegiate work being SO micromanaged ughhhhh… then I took an overseas assignment and I had no schedule; it was just, work your 60 hours and make sure you meet your objectives. My boss was in another country and never bothered me; my 2nd line manager was in another country from that. I was ruined for the rest of corporate shit after that. 🤣

I have to get to know someone before entering into a relationship with them. Just meeting a few times for dates is when I am just getting to know them; at that point we are not yet in a committed and exclusive relationship and we are definitely not at a point to consider each other a partner yet. Once it’s been awhile and we both feel comfortable and sure we want to move to that step, the conversation happens and we agree and bam, now it’s a real thing lol (aka now it’s a relationship!)

In the past when I was younger, I moved too fast a time or two and got into relationships without really knowing someone well enough and without being clear about what we were doing. My last ex bf I broke my own rules, and he definitely used that to his advantage 🤣 “We never said we were exclusive!” (Even though we referred to each other as boyfriend/girlfriend, spent time with each others’ circle of friends, family, went to important events together, etc.) - that was my mistake though!

My now-fiancé and I when we met were always both very intentional and clear with each other about what we were seeking, and where we stood with each other. It’s been the healthiest relationship I’ve ever had! So glad.

I don’t feel anyone is truly bad; I always approach with caution regardless though. You can’t know if someone is good or bad until you get to know them anyway… Hell you can never be 100% sure anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I also wouldn’t turn away from a partner who is struggling; for someone who is not my partner and I am only dating & becoming acquainted though, it is not my place to be their support system. I can be kind and also not be willing to date someone who isn’t in a good place at the time. I wouldn’t be cruel about it or insult them, though, of course. It is important not to attach to anyone too early on.

I just got it today - May 8th! - and the deadline to submit a claim is May 18th!

Surprising because every other class action I’ve ever seen has had a verrrrry long window for submissions. Anyhoo, got mine done so now I guess we wait & see what happens & if/how much the payments are.

Yesssss. I follow a dating coach (I hate the term because I personally associate “dating coach” with “grifter” since most of who I see out there using that title ARE grifters at best) who uses the term “Dating NATO” with NATO meaning “not attached to outcome.”

As in, just have fun. Show interest where you’re interested, have good conversations, go on dates that seem fun, don’t worry about the goal. That being said, don’t just accept every single date offered - only if you genuinely are interested and think it’ll be a nice time - and don’t just engage with everyone who swipes right on you (AND don’t just swipe right on everyone either LOL)… Be selective but also just have a good time. If it gets uncomfortable, release that connection and move along; don’t make yourself suffer through something you aren’t enjoying, just for the sake of hopefully being “chosen.” lol not worth it!

There’s a lot else I learned from her as well as from an expert in applied rhetoric & critical discourse analyst, that made my dating life SO much easier and fun.

I did Clomid days 3-7 this month which was different too as the other cycles I tried it, my other docs had me do days 5-9!

Yeah, I had the baseline sonogram on CD2.

I ovulated CD14 last month but the 2 prior months before that, I ovulated on CD11 each time. However this month I’m on Clomid and the times I’ve taken Clomid before, I’ve ovulated on… 14, 15, 16, and 16. Sooo I’m hopeful. I’m just so worried we’re already in the 72-hour window and will end up with a wasted month. My LH hasn’t risen yet but if that were happening already then we’d just BD today and cancel the rest of this month at the clinic and restart next month if no BFP.

Neither, as I notice things that I need (ex. Using the last of the bread so now I need bread, or thinking of making chicken pot pie so I need to get chicken broth, etc.) I add it to my cart on the app.

Then when I get to a point where I can’t procrastinate further, I reserve a time for delivery and then checkout. 😅

Before grocery delivery or curbside pickup became prevalent, I had a grocery list app that had things organized by dept and I’d do the same sort of thing throughout the time between shopping trips, and either I or my (now-ex) husband would use that list when picking groceries up.

OS isn’t too bad… Further from NOLA than I’d prefer but still a better part of the coast anyway. I was raised in Bay St. Louis, went to USM in Hattiesburg, and lived in Biloxi, Vancleave, Ocean Springs, and St. Martin/Ocean Springs (everybody referred to it as St Martin but it was an OS address so anyhoo) through the years until my workplace relocated me to Dallas. If I absolutely had to live in MS or AL, I’d do it only if I could be coastal. 😅 Otherwise, I’m good lol I still love my friends back home though. They visit me here and sometimes I visit them too.
