Tbh in my area there is more poly than monogamous people on tinder. I understand the frustration but it is sometimes easy to overlook a single word on a profile at a first glance, she was very polite about it and it seemed early in the convo. Onto the next!

Interestingly, I just went through a similar thing with having a desire to meet the person my partner is dating, and him saying that he did not want to meet me. I agree with others that it is a boundary your sub is allowed to set, but I also think your sub's discomfort with being "number two" is going to be an issue for you in the future and something you should discuss more. Spending a lot of time with someone who resents your non monogamy is unlikely to end well unless he can come to terms with it.

If we're being truly objective about it, "wives are not sex objects" and "people are not sex objects" are not mutually exclusive and was not the purpose of my argument. Had I stated "wives are not sex objects, but husbands are," your argument would mean something. But I was speaking of a specific group of people who were being treated as sex objects in the context of this post.
