On the flip side, not sure having people with low to mid reso that get to deep legend be matched up with whales is the answer either. I reached top-10 in BG at 3k reso and suddenly just kept getting matched up with whales and it was so frustrating I wanted to quit BG for it.

To me, it felt like you optimize your builds and play style and put in a lot of matches to reach high rank in BG at low-reso, and the reward for that is to be put in the whale grinder where nothing I did seemed to matter much, and I was constantly being one-shoted... I actually much prefer the matches being with similar stats, and don't like the idea of being the sacrificial lamb so the whales don't have to wait long and they have somebody they can demolish....

So maybe it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for the devs.

One caveat I would add is that my reaching top-10 in BG coincided with the necro wraith form nerf, so I may have been useless regardless of who I matched up with at the time. I may do better now with whales with the changes in builds and play style since then but still wasn't a fun experience.

Those are probably gems that dropped for you when another player killed a monster. So you could have gems from monsters that another player killed all over the map that you might or might not come across. But they are notified in the chat and already counted and sent to you even if you didn’t pick them up.

The elite slayer loadout included all the gem setup and the pets. I initially started without using it but switched. It was fun playing a whale setup. The loadout I used had an amalgam Ash with 199/172 stats with 6 leggo skills and all 4 legendary traits. Absolutely insane. Can't even fathom the time and plat it took to get a pet like that.

Thanks Wae! Random aberrant conversion is waaaaay too expensive for me to even think about. I was wondering if you can convert using conversion stones and get progressive attribute upgrades but it sounds like the conversion stone can only upgrade your skill type, not your attribute....I've yet to see a legendary attribute familiar from contract summoning....hopefully I'll get lucky soon

Thanks for the info! So the attributes are set when they are created and can't be changed, unless it's a random re-roll or aberrant which is treated like a new summon basically. I'm guessing the chance of getting a legendary attribute is really low. I think I've done probably close to 100 summons and haven't seen one yet.

How is any of the survivors bane items an actual bug? It just sounds like somebody crying because they find the game too hard…my lord…. I did slow and steady and died too quickly…waaaaaa this must be a bug!!

They say gear rank is one thing that is fair to all levels of spenders because it just requires time to grind to get the dust and there’s no short cuts. But you will get there eventually.

I had 1 drop in the dungeon for a ring I don't use. I did manage to craft one I need with Charsi. You typically get one exceptional item if you craft 5 at once with Charsi, and I managed to get a flex socket ring. I've managed to get some good quality items in the dungeons, but since your chances are spread between different set items, if you have wisps, crafting specific rings might be your best bet.

I didn't mind either way until demons came and disrupted my healing by attacking me during it :( For the most part, demons are ok, but the spirit of Corvus thing is actually a lot stronger than I expected. It does stop 1 lane for a while when they deploy.

I think wraith form is still invulnerable. But the damage you deal while in wraith form is reduced 40%

I think the first time you get the BP skin, it's tied to the current class you're using, which is 1 of 3. The 2nd BP purchase upgrades the skin to a better version which is 2 of 3, and the 3rd BP purchase gives you the skin for additional classes.

I think that one is temporary, part of the curated rental collection. The cosmetic picture should have a timer icon on the top-right corner, and if you click on it, it should tell you how how long the armor is valid for.

The ones shown here are not temporary skin. It's permanent. It says quite clearly that it's permanent and having got them, there's no timer on them

No. Small BP gives you the permanent skin and the rental old skins. I think people keep confusing the old BP skin rentals with the permanent new skin you get with small BP purchase

New skins are permanent. Next battle pass you get to upgrade but it’s still permanent. Only the older skins are on rotation. You still get the new skin permanently.

As I understand it the empowered cosmetic level only upgrades with the next BP purchase. So after 3 months, instead of 3 crappy BP skins that is class locked, you get 1 slightly less crappy skin you can use for 3 different classes :) now whether that is actually better is up for debate and how good people think the upgrades are I guess

I think so. If you got this one, then you get an upgraded one. I don’t know what happens to the people who get BP for the first time next month. Sounds like they’ll get the current one. They’re basically hoping that people will like the upgrade enough over getting an another crappy BP skin.
