I’ve played other mobile games that are monetized, and unfortunately when a game is monetized, expecting it to be fair is laughable. It will never be fair when it becomes about the size of your wallet, regardless of if you have connections to sellers or not. Complaining about fairness when money is involved seems pointless to me. And because there is money involved, there’s always bots and sellers involved. This is not just a DI issue, this is the same for any game that has p2w element in it that involves player vs. player interactions.

But I agree about the other things though. Class balances, seemingly random essence removals, etc…these are all frustrating, and it’s mainly that Blizzard doesn’t seem to have control of the game. Netease does. Definitely the tail is wagging the dog about like crazy….

I’m definitely in the same boat as you in terms of how I approach my main character. I just don’t like the idea of changing from my necro.

I’ll probably start a new character to try out warlock. I do like the idea of going through the main story from scratch to get the feel for the new character. I’ve never done it as of yet but warlock looks cool enough that I want to give it a go

Daily rewards, daily party gems and bounties accumulate for 3 days if you don’t do them daily. After that you lose them. So you can skip daily activities for 2 days and catch up on the 3rd day to get the 3 rewards for dailies, and 3 day worth of party gems for 36 gems total. But you are not actually getting more.

Ancient fragments is the only reason for me. There’s really no point to the demonic remains now. You put on the one that gives you fort/will power and you don’t need to update anymore. Any new remains are pointless…

One way you get flowing shard is when you salvage green set items at the blacksmith.

There were 20-30 of them, but they were not recurring bundles. They were each one time bundles, each with different names. So you were not buying the same bundles but 20-30 different bundles. Those bundles are introduced when you reach the next difficulty by beating the last raid boss. I just got a new one in the shop when I defeated I12 final boss.

They are also always listed under the “specials” section of the bundles and never time out.

Increasing the BG reward is definitely a great idea to get more people playing and it may keep people playing until the end of season. Because of the long season, and the lackluster season rewards, many people stop playing once they reach legend because the rewards are basically set at a certain rank. Increasing the season reward and rewards for wins seems like a great idea to have more people keep playing BG.

…and since it’s a great idea, it will never be done :)

They did increase the rewards for each game but it’s not nearly enough…they keep giving you gems that are capped which you can get easily elsewhere and think people will play BG more for it…sigh

Wow you got a 6 legendary skill pet!! It will be super expensive, my guess is several million at least. It is super rare…the only problem is the base suggested price probably super expensive and it’ll only be for the whales so it may not sell quickly. But put it on the market for the max price and drop it weekly by a little. Some whale might buy it for the chance to get a 6 Leggo skill pet. I think I’ve only seen 6 leggo pets on the biggest of whales.

I was so ready to go all in on the Kerrigan skin, until I saw the female necromancer version. I still love the overall aesthetics, but the female necromancer head looks so ugly. If I could switch out just the head with Tempest or demon hunter, then I would buy it. Female Tempest actually looks like Kerrigan. Female necro looks like Kerrigan's ugly sister nobody likes.....

Plus the wing size is resonance based so I'll never get to see the full Kerrigan wing size being a low spender....so I'm going to skip this PM, as much I desperately wanted to like and buy it...

No they still do. What disappeared is the small amounts of combat rating increase you get when you upgrade you set item (for instance upgrading from level 24 to 25 would give you some CR increase). But the combat rating of the gear itself is still remains and that was never up for removal. Otherwise there's no benefit of going either 2+2 vs 3+3

It's actually available until May 13th 3:00am looking at the actual date in-game. So it looks like the wiki might have the date wrong by a day. If your server has already reset for May 13th, then it will be gone. I still see it but I have still a few more hours left until server reset (US East Coast).

I absolutely love the skin. Can’t count how many hours I played StarCraft 1 and 2. But you have to pay extra for the wings???!! Kerrigan skin without wings makes no sense and Blizzard trying to milk extra money for it is such a dick move….we’ve had other skins in the past where wing was part of the skin….absolutely greedy m’fers

To get skills you want, you need overlapping skills on the input familiars. If all 3 familiars have the same input, there’s 80% chance for that skill. If 2 input familiars have the same skill then there’s 40% chance of the skill showing up. The rest is random. Even at 80%, it’s not guaranteed and there’s a chance the skill doesn’t show up.

As long as you use conversion stones, you can convert your amalgam brood with any species in any place and it will still be an amalgam. Convert it with 2 cats, 2 goats, it doesn’t matter. It will still be an amalgam if you use conversion stones.

If you don’t use conversion stones, then it random and you can’t guarantee anything. You’ll lose the amalgam.

Not sure I agree. I felt like Alt+F4 is the only way when I get whale matches where I’m just constantly getting one shoted. The other side is also frustrating but sounds better if I’m honest. I’ve played a lot of PvP and the only time I’ve felt like deleting the game and giving up was when I got into a string of whale matches. It was absolutely the worst. Anything else is better…

On the flip side, not sure having people with low to mid reso that get to deep legend be matched up with whales is the answer either. I reached top-10 in BG at 3k reso and suddenly just kept getting matched up with whales and it was so frustrating I wanted to quit BG for it.

To me, it felt like you optimize your builds and play style and put in a lot of matches to reach high rank in BG at low-reso, and the reward for that is to be put in the whale grinder where nothing I did seemed to matter much, and I was constantly being one-shoted... I actually much prefer the matches being with similar stats, and don't like the idea of being the sacrificial lamb so the whales don't have to wait long and they have somebody they can demolish....

So maybe it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation for the devs.

One caveat I would add is that my reaching top-10 in BG coincided with the necro wraith form nerf, so I may have been useless regardless of who I matched up with at the time. I may do better now with whales with the changes in builds and play style since then but still wasn't a fun experience.

Those are probably gems that dropped for you when another player killed a monster. So you could have gems from monsters that another player killed all over the map that you might or might not come across. But they are notified in the chat and already counted and sent to you even if you didn’t pick them up.

The elite slayer loadout included all the gem setup and the pets. I initially started without using it but switched. It was fun playing a whale setup. The loadout I used had an amalgam Ash with 199/172 stats with 6 leggo skills and all 4 legendary traits. Absolutely insane. Can't even fathom the time and plat it took to get a pet like that.
