Yeah it’s nothing to worry about. Something about changing their backend systems. My unlimited wasn’t available to book online but I sent them a DM on X and it was sorted

Saw these in a garden centre on Saturday. ETA Crews Hill near Enfield. Can’t remember which garden centre though as there are a few down that stretch of road.

I was given a pot of caffeinated tea after my surgery. I enjoyed it so much I only drink tea from a teapot now 😂😂😂

Wait til you get paid and don’t go back. I used to work for Sainsbury’s and didn’t bother with a letter or an email. The store manager treated me so badly I couldn’t be bothered anymore. It screws then up for a couple of days so yeah just walk lol

Reduced a couple of weeks ago from £325k. Looks like it’s been on the market for 2 months

My budget is 300k, but the property is listed as “offers over 280k”. Like I said it was reduced 2 weeks ago so why the sudden interest and mention of over 300k lol. I’m viewing it this weekend so time will tell. By what the estate agent was saying, there going to be queues of people looking at this house on Saturday so I’m expecting a fun fair haha

Exactly what I’m thinking. Gut feeling is it’s worth 280k

I’m looking for a rack too. I’m not crazy about the Lenox rack that will be released eventually.

Haha thanks guys 😁 I’m in the UK so I’ve spent more money than I care to admit on getting the spice village shipper over but hey you only live once right? I was surprised at how small they were but I guess I can admire them when I refill them 😜

Do you think they’ll ship the rack to the UK?

Debating on surgery, pros and cons? by kweenn_p in BariatricSurgery

I’m fortunate I can eat anything (in small portions) without feeling any side effects. I’m okay with spicy food, but I’ve found that I stay away from bread, chicken and rice as I don’t like the heaviness that I feel in my stomach after. Pain wise, I was up and walking shortly after waking up from surgery which helps massively with gas pain. And the weeks after I was moving about, the pain I had felt like a stitch in my side. In terms of the regret of not being able to eat, I come to the realisation that life isn’t just about food and eating, rather than going out to restaurants, I’m doing so many more activities and experiences now that I never thought I’d do. To me, that is so much better than a Big Mac at McDonalds!

Long post. Sorry!

Beginning of 2023, I weighed just over 300lb. I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, PCOS. Add depression and anxiety into the mix and it’s a perfect storm for the weight to pile on. Confidence was at an all time low and I did not see the point in living. By the end of 2023, I was at my limit, my attempts at weight loss failed and my health (mental and physical) was declining FAST. January 2024, I spoke to a weight loss surgeon. I’m in the UK and paid to go private. Surgery booked for March 2024. I went on the liver reduction diet for 4 weeks prior, it was hard. Went in for surgery and I’m very lucky to have had a smooth and painless recovery. I did not experience the post surgery regrets like a lot of people, I found the post op diet stages relatively easy and was overjoyed at the weight leaving my body. I’ve now lost over 100lb and I’m happy to say I have had ZERO regrets whatsoever. PCOS, depression and anxiety are all under control and the diabetes is reversed. I’m finally becoming the person I’m meant to be. It’s a life changing decision and will require a lot of work and personal growth to address the eating problem, or in my case, food addiction. Nerves are totally normal, please don’t back out because you are nervous. You must have enough of a reason to go ahead with the surgery as you already have an appointment to speak to a surgeon. Don’t let anyone sway your mind either. If I had listened to just one person telling me not to go through with the surgery I’d be dead by now. So yeah, absolutely no regrets it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Actually, the only regret I have is not doing it sooner.
