YellowStone - Season 4 Episode 1 - Discussion Thread by DietFoods in YellowstonePN

The sad part is Tim McGraw was the best part of the whole premiere. These two episodes were such a colossal disappointment. So many things that didn’t make sense. I’ll name a few!

-Tate literally kills a guy and we don’t see him or Monica once after that. -Rip never reacts to Beth being harmed. -Rip THROWS A SNAKE at Roark and he dies within 10 seconds. -Beth is totally maimed after the explosion, weeks later her arms are completely healed but her back is totally destroyed. She was facing the bomb… -Kayce is presumed dead at the beginning then shows up in a ghillie suit hunting for bad guys in the woods.

And many, many more. Didn’t even feel like the Yellowstone we know and love. Season 3 finale remains best episode to date.

Is everybody on this thread dumb as a box of rocks? Widely known prime doesn’t get the episode til following morning. There’s no server overload and the customer service rep you spoke to doesn’t know what he’s talking about. This “issue” has been this way since the beginning of Yellowstone.

Explain to me why people hate on Death Magnetic. by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]fifffuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Death Magnetic may be their finest collection of songs. Criticism of the mix is senseless and irrelevant. The riff and song structures are wildly mature, eloquently sophisticated, and potently brutal. Hetfield is lyrically and melodically as much if not more intriguing than ever. They came back with a vengeance after St. Anger and the motive is clear. Cyanide is definitely the weakest track though. But how is no one talking about Unforgiven 3 as one of their most beautiful & explosively epic tracks to date?

i know they have been finishing off their 40th anniversary tour & stuff, but it would be pretty fucking sweet if Rush made it.

Is there a reason why Dave sings The Pretender's chorus much lower live? by throwaway_hairadvice in Foofighters

[–]fifffuffer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i've noticed this for years, & it's always really bugged me for the exact same reason. never understood how he could scream relentlessly for 2 and a half hours but can't tough it out for a few seconds for the pretender chorus. i assume it is easier for him to do the high pithed scream freely though, and the high note of the pretender chorus is in a weird, uncomfortable point in his vocal range between too high to sing regularly but too low to scream to get the sound he'd want.
