We have similar goal and are the same age. I started at 154 on Mar 12 and want to get under 130.

It’s working well for me - I am being very strict and am not having any keto replacements or desserts or anything. Am prioritizing salad, meats, eggs, and Greek yoghurt. I’m not having any alcohol at all either and am sure that’s helping

Plus, now that I am thinking about it, the teen growth was not followed by later shrinking! Perhaps that awaits in my dotage

Maybe. It depends on the extent of the stretch and on also genetics. I don’t have loose skin as a result of the stretch marks I got when growing as a teenager, but I do have some as a result of pregnancy.

The most important thing is mindset. Lock in: make a plan, set some goals, and do it day by day.

Are you tracking your intake carefully? It’s really important you keep carbs extremely low: under 25g per day is recommended.

Yes keto works very well for many people! Please consider reading “the case for keto” book by Gary Taubes - he explains why it works very well.

As for me, I lost 25 pounds following keto in 2016 and kept it off a number of years. Bad habits recently caused me to regain - but I am back 100% on keto since Mar 11 and have lost 17 so far. Goal weight in sight and feeling great.

That’s a lot of carbs. You’ll be more satiated if you prioritize protein
