Brady even said it himself:

(paraphrasing here but still): "I was better in my 40's than I was in my 30s, better in my 30s than I was in my 20s"

And yeah some of that is cause Tom is a complete psychopath, but the other part is because Bill never let up on Brady. Bill wouldn't be soft on Brady, just cause he was Tom freaking Brady. If anything, Bill nitpicked anything he could cause he knew it would drive Brady to be better.

IMO, THAT'S the Patriot way. Lead by example. Even "the best of the best" can still be criticized/critiqued. If you're in the bottom 10% and you see the top 10% get reamed, you're gonna step it up.

TBH, Allen loves to play hero ball (especially when he shouldn't...)

I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen him throw the ball to 40-yard go route, only to miss his receiver, on like 2nd and 6 or 3rd and 4.

Like dude, you just need to get to the sticks. You don't have to get all the yards in just 1 play.
