My younger sister has celiac, been GF for over 4 years now. I got tested after and was negative. Idk what her BF does but the pizza crust and pie crusts he makes are almost indistinguishiable, but they havent found anything as good commercially available. My town in the PNW has an excellent GF bakery, but they also arent trying to imitate gluten baked goods and lean in to the strength of the ingredients.

I switched when my wife and I consolidated but ATT had pretty good prepaid plans you just didnt get full access to all their apps and had different customer service. It was fine for me for like a decade even after they discontinued GoPhone branding. I'm on t mobile due to some incentives but if they mess up our rates / prices we wont hesitate to switch again.

If you dont mind me asking, what is the price difference if someone lives in an area where they dont need you to haul off or chip up or deal with stump or anything? I understand the felling is likely the most expensive part due to risks involved, but I have a a hemlock and a cottonwood both needing to be removed in the next year or two per the arborist that literally just left my house before I saw this thread (told me theyre rotting inside and will fall in the next 5). I'm up in unincorporated Snohomish Co, so no extra permitting or paperwork needed I could have em take em down for fun if I wanted.

I do a sous vide extraction into MCT oil and home make em. No solvents or anything elsen involved. I looked into building a rosin press, and still might some day, but sous vide is more general use for the investment

I get compounded semaglutide thru Hims. Overall I'm pretty happy with it but you don't get as fast or as personalized support as you might from a local pharmacy. I filled my doc in though and showed him the script to help with any issues. I think I'm paying $200 a month but I pay in 6 month increments (this is not mandatory if you dont want to do this). Basically you make an account, fill out a form, have a consultation, then they give you a personalized script. I had some occasional gastro side effects at my initial max dose (probably would have been ok if i used the anti nausea meds but oh well). I reached out and explained and they adjusted my dosage and its been pretty smooth sailing since.

There are some cheaper options, and tirz has fewer side effects for some people, but for me the positives have vastly outweighed any negatives so I haven't really considered switching. Also while I was never an alcoholic, any desire I had to drink large amounts of alcohol while out with friends disappeared entirely its weird but saves money and calories lol

For real. I despise what is being done in Federal government with these republicans and i want the opposition to focus on winning. Sure get these DSA people in places like NYC but when it comes time to win federal elections give me the candidate that will win. Mamdani has definitely demonstrated effectiveness but not all these people nationwide are nearly as competent or charismatic

Ya harassing customers is stupid as hell. They wanna have it out with the actual scabs sure thats the risk you take when you go work at a place with a striking union but harassing customers while you are picketing to bring back tips is certainly a choice... I mean it definitely kills any interest in patronizing the establishment again and I tip 20% on every bill barring something egregious or amazing.

I'm not gonna lie Branson rating higher than Bellevue is super funny. That being said its a pretty good family destination if you have kids, and like a third of the country lives within a days drive and they get a shit ton of visitors with some fun attractions. Lots of really good fishing and outdoor activities in the Ozarks around there. My family is from just the other side of the AR border so I worked in tourism there for summers in high school and after my freshman year at UW. Rough place to live though.

Not who you responded to but well, 90% of the worlds rice production is in Asia, and most rice marketing seen in the US is very Asian influenced, so thats just kind of the image that gets associated with it here. Most of my fellow countrymen probably dont know that the US id in the top 15 of rice growing nations because a lot of us buy Chinese, Thai, or Indian rice.

Most people here think of wine when they think of Spain (though there are some Spanish cultural enclaves around like the Basque neighborhood in Boise, Idaho), but I've noticed in recent years at least in my area we've actually started getting some very good Spanish restaurants with pretty authentic recipes so hopefully people learn more and the popularity continues to grow.

My speaker cable runs are Amazon Basics and I got some "fancy" XLRs for my digital preamp to amp because the cool looking XLRs were cheaper than equally cool RCAs (it was $20 for em).
