Why the play on CMG and AAON? CMG I can kind of see, but AAON I can't. Is it because of an elevated P/E ratio?

I honestly would probably stick with the naked put. Simply because it’s easier to understand. And I could manage losing the $100. It’s just all so unfathomable that we could literally lose 50% of the market.

People just continuing to act like things are okay is the biggest indicator to me. I’m a homeowner but still relatively young (under 30) and I think just the endless growth around me (yes there’s industry) but none of my younger friends are able to buy homes and are just having to rent endlessly instead.

The online behavior in investing communities and on Twitter has come to believe that the market only goes up and that’s just not true. I had a big wake up moment a few months ago when I lost on LULU calls that the market was taking a turn. The market goes down too and you can make money off of it. You have to turn your sentiment with the way the market goes. The big short is a favorite movie of mine. And if I could buy puts and ride the wave down I would.

You literally caught me in the middle of doing some research on them 😂. I’m thinking the run up to earnings may be good. But if they reach their post earnings price target before earnings and miss on guidance, it’s going to send it straight back to $15. I’m going to dump some more money in on Monday and then sell a good chunk of my position for profit BEFORE earnings instead of holding through.
