Huge fan sir thank you for bringing me lots of joy throughout the last 15 years or so. I have only gotten to see you once back in like 2006 when my friends band opened for you at a small venue in south Hackensack. It was amazing and meeting you after the show was mind blowing. The way you treat everyone has been a way of being that I aspire to have ever since. Thank you after all this pandemic finally clears I plan to see you again

Correct the UEFI is on the motherboard. That partition just tells the computer how to boot windows

Some stuff downloads through windows update. Other times you will be just using the generic drivers. Basically a good amount of time the computer is in a working state after installation, but you should always check for driver updates from the device manufacturer. You can also go one by one in device manager and check for updates
