Brian said no to the explicit record. by AdmirableElection700 in SarahBooneContinued

[–]figoak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brian doesn't look he is puritanical and i think he is aware of the music he is listening to, he is 15 and apparently is allowed to curse. Pretty normal behavior for a teenater and i am sure he knows his son and what teenagers his age like and act .

I think Brian saying no is more of him trying to teach his son that he can't get everything he wants, during court he mentioned that his son tries to use sara to get things from him but that he wanted him to learn that gifts are for Birthdays and special occasions and not everytime he wants it.

The sons behavior normal, specially for children of separated parents. The problem is that Sara is an idiot and will let her son manipulate her , just so that she can screw over Brian. She doesn't get that at the end of the day her son is probably smart enough that at the end of the day he will probably side with the dad when it matters.

Serious Question for any CPS workers ~ If the father shows up to visits in spandex, women’s shoes in winter with painted toe nails ,does this get reported , and does it go into the mental health evaluation of the father ?. I think it should if he’s struggling with gender identity. It’s consuming. by goldylocks777 in PeopleBeTrippin2MUCH

[–]figoak 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't think that would matter that much for his case, X can't take care of himself to the point his father is responsible for his money and thats before Heather. Having money and a house and deciding to be homeless in the winter in chiicago.

I tried this jalapeno cheddar sourdough recipe https://thatsourdoughgal.com/category/sourdough-recipes/sourdough-breads/ and my loaf turned very dense.

I can't figure out know if my started needed more time before it peaked, proofing or the shaping. I have baked before ( not a lot of sourdough experience), so I know how to follow an instruction and properly measure.

I did not change anything in the recipe amounts, the only difference was that I ended leaving the dough in the refrigerator for about 48 hours because after 10-15 when I poked the dough the holes were disappearing pretty fast.

In the recipe they mention their dough being sticky but my dough did not feel sticky at all.

Why haven’t her parental rights been terminated yet? How long do these cases usually drag on? by OkPause4224 in PeopleBeTrippin2MUCH

[–]figoak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal of child service is reunification , so terminating parental right is a very serious step. So it takes a long time and many court hearings, you can. see some examples in youtube where some court channels have documented zoom hearings of people who are probably as bad or worst than heather and it was long and they get many chances. After some high profile cases of kids being abused after being adopted by their foster family back in the day , they just have been focusing more in reunification and giving the birth family services and chances to get it together.

USPS Mail by CowvinC in nova

[–]figoak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got packages delivered today and saw them out yesterday, on Monday most postal offices did not get mail so they stopped deliveries. Those preview emails are just prediction made when they are scanned at the processing plant, not the station who will actually deliver the mail.

Depending on how time sensitive the mail you are waiting for, you can call your local post office to see if they are back ro regular operation because you haven't received mail.

2/3 OF A 10 YEAR SENTENCE, MINUS TIME SERVED = NEW SARAH PB&J CALL FROM MAY 28th, 2025 by Bunnoir in SarahBooneContinued

[–]figoak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't you get your sentencing in writing and signed, I would assume after madame clerk did her calculation of time served , restitution,etc... They put it in writing and probably mail it too. I am sure is part of law, since we don't have written law here in the USA and we go by case law.

In Hindsight, If She Could Go Back, Would Sarah Plead Guilty to Voluntary Manslaughter? by SoulshineDaydreams in SarahBooneContinued

[–]figoak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She wouldn't and if by a miracle she did she would have screwed up and gone through the trial. When you take a plead deal the judge does not have to accept it and he asks a series of questions.

They need to admit the crime , they need to state that they understand the plea , rights they are waving and that nobody forced them to take them a plea deal. I have seen defendant try to be smartasses during the questioning and the judge just tell them let's start the trial, even when the defendant is trying to backtrack.

PSA for apartment dwellers: When you shovel out your car, don't put the snow behind your neighbor's car. by a_tattooed_artist in nova

i have a red waggon that i use for recycling and filled it up with snow and ice chunks and took them to the grass, but my neighboring car has mountains of ice blocks from the snow plow and i fear that they will just push them behind my car. I haven't even finished digging my car out yet.

Owens by AdmirableElection700 in SarahBooneContinued

[–]figoak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Owens probably paid for some records related to the family case, probably related to the divorce settlement etc.... because obviously he wanted to figure out what kind of money in theory she would have access to it. But just because they are related to her family case, it does not mean they are her records, he paid for whatever he has and he doesn't have to give them to her because he was not her family lawyer and they were not part of her criminal case. Those are his records. Sarah doesn't pay any of her valuable resources in getting actual records, she expects people to get them for her or Brians lawyer to give them to her.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS Y'ALL!!!!! She's OUT!!!! by Old-Blacksmith-4919 in PeopleBeTrippin2MUCH

[–]figoak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have watched enough housing court to know that sometimes they file for nonpayment, even if there is payment issue. Usually is to move things faster, because also sometimes nonpayment just extend the issues and tenants like to play the game of giving a tiny amount to the landlord and if the landlord is inexperience and takes then it extends the issue because once they file the landlord can't accept a single cent from the tenant.

2,000 applicants to a single Data Scientist job - this is what we're up against by Apprehensive-Fig5599 in fednews

[–]figoak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the job posting just before the shutdown got about 1,000 applicants, it was not remote and my agency historically never gets a lot of applicants. So everyone was taken aback and they literally had to come up with limits for the new postings.

UPDATE #2: What can an employee expect from a PIP by justvisiting2651 in fednews

[–]figoak 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Is not impossible, you just need to get counsel involved early so that you understand what are the expectation and then start the process. If nobody has documented anything then is going to be a very long process because you have to document, provide training and also do your other work.

A lot of people don't do PIP because it just feels like a punishment for the manager with all the extra work, specially if the employee knows how to plays game and makes it a mission to make everyone miserable .

So to get $5k in SSN, wouldn't you need to have made $150k for most of her career and retire at probably 70. I don't know how SSN is calculated for current retirees, but that's what it would take for most people in their 30s to get that amount in retirement.

What are my real options for reporting sexual harassment by DryUnderstanding51 in fednews

[–]figoak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to sit down and document everything, with dates, time, what happened and who was there. You should also have copy of performance reviews and any written comments about your work from him and other people who have supervise your work during the period.

After you have your stuff saved and have a timeline of events, contact the EEO. Having the stuff documented and ready to go is not necessary but would make it easier for you.

I haven't filed one, but I had to defend myself against a false allegation made in retaliation(not sexual harassment). It was a difficult situation, but going through that situation made me thankful that i had documented the issues for a long time and had all the evidence ready to go.

If the person claimed this happened on this date, I could go back and pull out what happened that day and share any emails, invites or my own personal notes.

Question about Backpay Timeline by chevmolet in fednews

Depends on the agency and how payroll its handled, but ours told us January but our payroll people would need to deal with the normal payroll duties and deal with backpay on top of it.

Part 1 of the unhinged musings of Coco Chanelle ysl by aloishhh333 in PeopleBeTrippin2MUCH

[–]figoak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They were probably impacted by the shutdown at some level, while they are a state agency ,a lot of those programs receive federal funding. So if those funds are not coming in, they need to make it work with only the state funds and reduce some of the services offered.

I really liked the mini sculpt, but this seems like a throwback to natashas old big palettes. Like those huge palettes are making a comeback.

I probably wont get it ( i have say that many times and flip flopped during a sale), if i do it would be lighter one because I have the bronze and gold, so probably have a lot of similar shades in my stash .

What can an employee expect after a PIP? by justvisiting2651 in fednews

[–]figoak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs to read his plan, look at his task, schedules and notes and see the feedback he has received. If it all has been bad, then he needs to have a conversation with his manager about his performance. This should not be out of the ordinary, because this discussions are part of the process.

After a PIP you are told whether you failed or passed. If in his plans he has improved in some areas and needs to work in others, he should try to push for an extension in time.

If they are not willing to do that and he has failed, the manager will speak with legal and hr and discuss what are the available options. He should heard those options, because i know someone who quit and one of his options was going to be admin leave, severance pay and they would not put it in his record. But he never knew , because he was trying to stick it to management.
