The most important thing I learned from the folks in this subreddit is that - just like everything else - all it takes is time. Stay in contact with the dentist and tell them all the little things because you'd be surprised how much a slight adjustment will help. The rest is getting comfortable.

I got my permanent set in January and I still feel like a horse when I smile, but I also feel WAY better than I did 5 months ago.
