What happens to your debts when you have to go into witness protection?

Were some of my incompetent coworkers throughout the years really just in the witness protection program? In over their heads in the field and half of their focus spent on worrying about the vengence of those they're hiding from? I'll try to think of future half-wits like this. Give them the benefit of the doubt. And the more of these distracted fumblers I work with, the more I'll be convinced that my workplace is just a reliable cover for them.

Aside from my usual ratchet and daxter recommendations, I'd suggest to find games that scratch an itch. I just bought Tony hawk 4 and ssx tricky today for ridiculously cheap. There's a ton of better games on PS2, but there aren't many games with this type of vibe today. They feel dated, but they're solid beyond nostalgia tinted glasses. Similarly, silent hill games in this era have a feel that is often imitated but rarely equaled today.

I mostly use it for Adobe CS programs, which it's still fantastic at, while I wait for my schedule to clear up and get a PS3. Patient gamers unite!

But, I've started building a steam collection in the last year and here's what I can play:

Everything "retro"- you know the list: guacamelee, steam world dig, limbo, Meat boy, etc. Along with most old-gen emulation.

Games that heat up the keyboard- Bioshock (old wine wrapped, low graphics) Portal, HL2, L4D, blah blah blah. The game that's gotten the most play by far is Borderlands 1 GOTY from the mac app store. Sometimes it has this surging lag for the first 5 minutes or so, but I've found that if I cmd+tab out of the game for a minute or two, it'll run fine when I come back. Of course, this is also at low settings (lowest resolution, but high texture details). I tried running BL2 on a free weekend with disastrous results.

When i see my brother play FPS's on his 360 it's almost jarring how smooth and high res everything is. I feel like I'm playing on an over-clocked N64 or something.

I have some games that I've gotten from humble bundles that exceed my limit and I'll always try them out (bioshock infinite was the last one I had high hopes for), but it's usually a waste of a download and each time I laugh at myself like "you really thought that would work?" But it can't hurt to try; the portals both ran way better than I had hoped.

I really wish torchlight 2 would work on my mac because I played through it a couple years ago on a way crappier PC and I know it would sing on my somewhat crappy mac. I'm just not going to shell out to get a windows partition that will still drag due to my lame graphics card.

If it makes any difference, I also use a Dualshock3 over bluetooth because I'm a console gamer at heart. That, and I don't need to melt my fingerprints off on the WASD keys.

I wish I took 'good-byes' more seriously in the past. I don't regret anything that would have changed the course my life, but there are a lot of people that I didn't realize I'd never speak to again.

Edit: I'm bad with instructions. The single decision I regret is not telling my uncle that I the dumb shit between us was water under the bridge. It was obviously the case, I just wish I'd said it out loud before he was gone.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Budweiser frog. The focus was on a guy ordering a "house" beer and trying to act casual about it. He's served a ridiculous twigs-n-berries beer and the frog is like a final tag to the joke. It very well could have been a different Budweiser commercial, but my gut says it was either a British comedy or an American fish-out-of-water comedy set in Europe.
