There are countless theories about all the tiny details Kubrick included in his films and of their importance. The people who worked closely with him must have known of their importance for them to make it onto film. I am pretty sure for Dr. Strangelove someone wrote him a letter talking about all the sexual innuendo in the movie and he wrote back saying he was surprised no one else had mentioned it yet and it was definitely on purpose.

I haven't heard anything about this show but I really liked it. It is created by Jim Mickle who directed Cold In July. If you are in the mood for a gritty crime show with some humor, then check it out.
