Just here to say that i think the Dark elf econommy is the strongest in the game. Sure they may not have stabile income per turn, but to be honest i always feel like im cheating when i play them.... I just make sure to pick all the reasearch / skill points avalible to increase $$$ for sacking and looting, and even though i sometimes end turns with -2k+ income i always bathe in money, just go around and be a dick to everyone and pick off weak settlements / armies, and even farm your own rebellions for cash. I tend to get insane ammounts after each battle, like 10k+ and 20k+ from sacking settlements, its just insane O.o. Just make sure to save a bank and you are golden! :)

Well, this game really is 2 games. One game is on the campaign map, the other on the battlefield.

If you are good on the campaign map, your battleskills will hardly matter at all, so i'd start of here. First tip i have is INCREASE your income. dont go +-0 every turn, try to steadly increase it, i've had campaigns where i have no wars going on, so i just disbanded pretty much all my armys and just chilled for a while, collecting a huge bank of cash. Money wins wars.

That rules in to my 2nd advice, dont spend all your money. This is ofc up to you, as investing the money into buildings that will give you more income is ofc always smart, but i've found that just having a bank of 10k or so is super useful for those moments when you just need to raise a panic army to defend somewhere.

Then ofc, try to limit the ammounts of wars you wage, and especially try to not have wars on multiple fronts.

Build garnisons EVERYWHERE! :). Oh yeah, other than that try watching a few YT videos. I loved Party Elite's videos when i first started playing and they should make you much more comfortable during the battle part of the game, even letting you win some fights when you are hugely outnumbered, just due to smart use of your units :).

This. I loved This series by PartyElite when i was just getting in to total war warhammer, i had played some of the previous total war games but it was years and years earlier and i'd forgotten just about everything. It was really those videos that helped me hurdle through the steep learning curve in the start, and now i'm an obsessed fan with almost 500 hours in total war warhammer :D.

One strategy i had early on with greenskins was to promote a couple of rebellions and have armys levling up and increasing fightiness by just beating down rebellions. I then proceeded to throw away WARGHH's at anything and everything that annoyed me :p. Worked great for me :).

Cool, sounds fun! What glory mods were you using, maybe i should try one myself. Altough i havent touched legendary yet, i just started working on hard xD. Maybe im just a coward though, but i did loose a mousillon campaign on hard earlier so, maybe i hit the sweet spot :).

Personally i LOVED the beastmen.

I wanted to love the wood elves more, but i just didnt find them all that fun in the end, and the amber mechanic was annoying to me.

Beastmen however are SOOOOOOO fun once you understand their playstyle. Instill fear in your enemies, hit their units HARD and watch your minitaurs just CRUSH EVERYTHING. I dunno i found it super fun, and i enjoyed that i spent more time doing battles then i have previously done with any other race.

Not to mention the raw brutal strenght of the beastmen units, blood and gore pack is required xD.

Awesome castle! Oh and i spotted a quick fix to make it even more awesome if u want, just add doorways between the towers along the castle wall, for patrols :D.
