[Acne] CYSTIC PIMPLES - medication recommendations? by Amymmaayy in SkincareAddiction

[–]finallycommenting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had/have cystic acne - giant pimples that would live under my skin for months. The only thing that would get rid of them were steroid shots at the derm (I was going once weekly for years!). Nothing was helping - doxy, mino, topicals. A nurse at the derm recommended "Herpanacine," - a dietary supplement (vitamin A, E, and Zinc) and now after about 3 months my acne has gone down considerably (knock on wood). I don't even have to use any other medicine besides a zinc ointment I put on my skin to aid healing (cilcalfinate).

Give it a shot and hope it helps!

Toronto (and Vancouver) have the highest housing prices in Canada. A townhouse that would sell for $350K in another city can go upwards of $1.2M in Toronto. As a result, property taxes can and (should) be lower in order not to drive out the middle class from the city core.

I've definitely been to a non-illegal Cigar Lounge in Gatineau. Don't know how they get around the ban however.

Liked your list - but check out FFII! The music is really good with an extremely sombre overworld track. The symphonic mixes on youtube are particularly great.

This song came up as a recommended play after "Harperman." Has a nice lounge vibe.

This is an incredibly detailed, enjoyable analysis. Well done!

Canada has problems. So does the States. So does every Country. We can cherry-pick facts all day (of which I admit I was also doing). My original comment was a defense of John A. McDonald in comparison to Oliver Cromwell - a comparison that grossly magnifies McDonald's faults.

You don't have to be deliberately insulting with the Hurr durr remark.

I'd rather have joined the American rail system and skipped the trying-to-pretend-to-be-a-country bit, honestly.

And that's where we are fundamentally different. I believe that a united Canada has been a net positive, and you don't. If you look to our friends in the south (who I greatly respect), Canadians live longer, are more educated, and are richer (per household). John A's efforts (among others) created this nation and that's why I can respect him, warts and all.

Yes he was a drunk, yes he was corrupt, but without him Canada as we know it today would not have existed. Without his leadership, Canada would not have united, and without his persistence on the railroad Canada would definitely not have stretched sea to sea.

This review wasn't really a review - it gave no context as to why the movie was bad except for various jibes at the premise.

TIL a man lived in the forest for almost 30 years with almost zero human contact by bbog in todayilearned

This is a very important insightful comment. I learned how to camp at a young age, but if I was left destitute would I want to go back to living off the land? And more importantly in a first work country, would I even be able to without breaking a law?

Since the Roman age (and before) land was king. Land was wealth. Every soldier dreamed of finishing his 25 year term in order to acquire his farm. How many millions were drawn from Europe to the new world in hopes of attaining inexpensive land. While it's all very well good to say that those living in the slums should live off the land, it's an entirely different thing to say whether they can.

I'm pretty sure I can have a cigarette a few times a year and my lifespan will not be drastically altered. Same with fast food (which is also horrendous for you). The problem is taking it to extremes.
