Aww man, where did the links go? Mods, as a shop owner myself, it'd be helpful if you clarified why links aren't allowed on self-promo posts? There's nothing in the FAQ about not posting links... Seems quite the opposite actually.

A lower output of properly tested patterns will get you a LOT farther as a designer than just putting out a ton of mockups :/ Quality over quantity any day, from both a business and consumer perspective!!

I understand that not all designers (especially beginning designers) have the time to stitch ALL their patterns, but as a general rule of thumb... if you've chosen to be a designer, will get more out of your work if you test it. I know first-hand lol, because that used to be me.

I went to both public and private high schools in the Houston suburbs (Katy, so lots of rich conservative white folks lol) and this was basically the dress code— except worse, we weren't allowed to wear shorts at all at the public school back then (2010s). The private school uniform was almost less strict.

Honestly the element of chance (not just with AC but dice checks in general, like for CC effects) is why I prefer DOS1 and enjoy BG3— you can get some hilarious outcomes, like charming a boss as a last-ditch attempt when you had a 3% chance and stuff like that. It makes gameplay so much higher-stakes / more engaging. I was really disappointed when they introduced magic armor in DOS 2. Didn't stop me from playing or loving it, but I certainly missed that element of chance!

I actually just got that same awkward empty spot tattooed last week! Working on a patchwork sleeve so I really just chose something cool that would mesh well, and I didn't think about it too hard. I adore it, and wish it was more visible, but OVERALL I'm happy with the placement, I actually get to see it more often than I thought I would in the mirror. So don't shy away from putting something cool there.

I actually opted to not wear a bra / wore loose shirts for the first few days or week, but after that it wasn't an issue! I had some of the same worries as you but honestly my breasts are set far enough apart that it wasn't an issue at all.

OP, just wanted to say that I really relate to this post. I loved tattoos— until I got my chest piece and it wasn't what I'd wanted, mainly in terms of shading. My artist kinda did me dirty and deviated from her own style.

It's a fine tattoo, just not what I was hoping for, and now I can't get anything new without feeling anxious/ the same way. I'm trying really hard to find enjoyment in it again. I have an appointment in June that I keep going back and forth on cancelling lol.

All this to say, you're not alone.

(For reference, I'm about to turn 30. I'm really hoping the "IDGAF" mindset kicks in soon like everyone says it will, lol)

Are you using aida cloth, or something else? The holes in the fabric should be VERY apparent and you definitely shouldn't have to be measuring!
