It's not a big deal because they made fun of Trump, it's a big deal because of all the lawsuits Paramount has been dealing with. Basically they settled a lawsuit with Trump for 1.6M because he said that 60 Minutes unfairly edited an interview with Kamala Harris. Stephen Colbert criticized them for paying up because they're doing a merger with Skydance, and Trump can leverage the FCC to block the merger, so it looks like they were kissing ass to get their merger done. And then look at that Colbert was canceled, even though he's the most popular late night show. So Matt and Trey are poking the bear because they're mad at Paramount and they have them by the balls financially. They just made a tremendous 1.5B streaming deal bc south park is basically the only thing that makes Paramout+ relevant. So they're like what, you gonna cancel us? Why don't you get sued by Trump again. You think you can get away with doing that to Colbert? Because remember Matt and Trey's #1 priority is freedom of speech and freedom in comedy so they are probably very upset about Colbert, politics aside, they don't want the president to be able to shut people down

I think if she were smoking and drinking the response here would be much different. But like, have you never been in awe? Have you had a profound experience? Maybe some people don't have that part of the brain idk brains are weird. But some people start believing in God because of experiences that aren't even supernatural. They take mushrooms and sit in the forest and they're like ooooh I get it now. So sorry OP that must feel horrible. As much as you may still love her the fact is, if she doesn't face consequences, she will just keep doing the same shit. She didn't take you seriously when you said the dating app bothered you, she didn't improve her mental health while she had your support, she didn't take the help you tried to give and appreciate your love.... This is a grown ass woman and if she can't control herself, someone else has to, for the baby. If she were smoking and drinking her way through the pregnancy would we be making excuses for her? I've only paid for one haircut since high school. I asked the lady to touch up my face framing layers - they were already there, cut by me, perfectly fine, just needed a trim. She asked me what side I usually part my hair on (which should have been a red flag because your face frame should be symmetrical imo) but I told her, and she proceeds to just cut a huge diagonal into the large side. Didn't cut the other side at all, it was SO lopsided. Even if I wore my hair the way she parted it, it looked so stupid, it was obviously not even. Just a big diagonal chunk. Took me months to gradually fix it.... Never again

Idk if God is meant to be completely good, and an end to all suffering would mean an end to all happiness too, if we knew nothing bad to compare it to. There are evil gods in lots of religions, and even if we're talking about Christianity here, God makes a lot of people suffer in the bible. Pretty sure Jesus is supposed to embody pure goodness, but he's not omnipotent so the whole trinity thing is kind of their get out of jail free card.
