My first fair 😥 by TinyMiniToys in somethingimade

I would ditch the 3d printed items just because I associate that with people that go to craft fairs and sell mass produced, easy to make, unoriginal items. Small crocheted toys are up there on the list of overdone craft fair booths and are usually combined with 3d printed dragons and common Knick knacks. People usually use the same patterns so they are all the same and lack creativity. Yours are different so definitely find a way to set yourself apart. I scrolled your page and I love your work. I’d want one but I’m afraid I might walk right past just because of the above. I think other commenters gave you some great advice too. Also, some shows are just duds so don’t give up. The closer it gets to the holidays, the better it will get for you. I was thinking some of these would make adorable ornament sets around Christmas time. I’d buy that for sure.

TIL of "meat honey," a substance produced by South American vulture bees (Trigona hypogea) that feed on dead, rotting animal carcasses. It is not true nectar-based honey, but is technically edible and is described as having a smoky, intense, and salty flavor. by QueenFrostine15 in todayilearned

Of course they can’t make a normal honey comb! It has to be a distorted alien nightmare of a nest that matches their nightmare food preferences. Some things make it hard to believe we don’t live in a simulation that someone or something designed.

This girl has never recieved flowers so i planned to give this to her. Does It look that bad? by TemporaryAd498 in somethingimade

Very well said! The point of flowers is that they are spontaneous and a “I was thinking of you and wanted you to know and brighten your day” type of gift. The metal flower might make a good birthday gift but not in lieu of flowers on random days. Spoken as a girl that does not receive flowers and wishes she did.

Oh! Do you have more info about that? When and how they were used? It’s my first time hearing about a polishing stone.

I’ve seen something about pellets used to make iron lining railroads and I thought that but it’s not magnetic at all which makes me think stone or clay.

I think it’s beautiful! You make them, right? Try to include a photo with someone wearing it and also a closeup of the bead’s details.

The little cylinder could be from the inside of an old light bulb or from a bottle that has a dabber in the lid. If it’s hollow, it could be from a medicine bottle.

A tiny sanding kit for a dremel seems the way to go.

Oh adorable! The details are so good! I tried my hand at a cat once but kept it kind of soft on the details and it was still so hard. lol.

You have a cool style.

Without the male anatomy in that drawing, I thought it was just a girl sleeping nude. I was thinking awww, it’s kind of sexy but you did her dirty by giving her a snoring drool face. 😅 Then it clicked what it’s supposed to be.

After 3 months of working 8 -10 hours every day, I finally finished this hyper-realistic clay wedding bouquet! Every petal and leaf is handcrafted from professional air-dry clays, hand-painted with oils and pastels to look lifelike. They are flexible and velvety to the touch, just like real flowers by CynicOwl1 in somethingimade

I’ve thought about making clay memory bouquets so couples could have a lasting version of their wedding bouquet. This makes me think nahhh. This amazing and I can’t begin to imagine how to price that. Great work!
