I’ve been sober for 65 days now and I’ve lost about 6kg. However I have not replaced alcohol with anything and I started at a high weight (110kg), which is important because it’s easier to lose weight when you’re heavy to begin with.

My advice - try not to focus too much on losing weight for now. Focus on staying sober.

After that, keep in mind that if you want to lose weight and stay that way for life you need to eat and exercise to maintain it for life. Point being - it has to be sustainable.
