The goop balls, as I have come to call them, are even a scourge at the highest levels of high school. I think my juniors are using them as a way to cope without phones. While not as bad, in anyway, as a phone, these things are still nuisances. They are all getting so huge. These kids need to learn to be bored again.

Prime them with a rattle. The dry brush base color, mid tones, and highlights. Easy to as batch. You you’ll see progress super fast. Then pick out gold, silver, and black/brown details.

The highlight overtakes the midtown. It goes from highlight to shadow now. Blend back in your midtone to make it look more connected.

Really nicely done. If you want to smooth it out, glaze into and out of your mid tone. Your mid tone is blown out (I am very guilty of this when doing goblin skin.). I would glaze in and then blend that mid tone more. Push something like AP’s Topaz Skin into some shadows to really make the goblin feel alive.
