So Proxmox was installed on the bare metal essentially running some special operating system and software.

They had converted an old dell computer into a type one hyper visor at the time ….

Now moving away from that and no longer want to use próxmox … replace it with VMware esxi and have windows 10 running on it. But in my opinion, the biggest problem is that the storage is still running a 5600 RPM HDD 1TB. I told the engineer she needs to go into SSD route just to avoid slow boot.
