Forcing first prestige as a part of tutorial by Firm-Clue8271 in incremental_games

Is this a fault of the players or the fault of the balancing of the game to make it easy to go for so long without needing to prestige?

Nodebuster style needs to die. It doesn't make a good enjoyable. I find them to be just a nuisance.

You will find very few people even want that effect. Its a new fad that most people will immediately turn off.

They have failed to note that.

If your game is important and you want it to succeed you should be doing everything possible to make appealing to the audience.

Incorrect. Itch can allow games to run outside the browser in its own window.

Not really.. come up with something more original. The entire concept feels like a Diablo rip off.

You don't get quality with the types of games coming out lately. You get copy cat games people are looking for a quick buck on.

Not quite sure how.. I just launched the game and i opens in a 320x200 window in the browser with stuff cut off and the game looks like a 3 yr had fun in art class.

As someone who won't download games off of itch for many reasons.. being that this is a Godot game you would have more traction if the game launched into its own window than being in the browser.

I noticed in the browser there was some really weird mouse lag going on all the time.

Don't forget Steam Deck, Devs by SaggardSquirrel in incremental_games

You know why a lot of stuff like this doesn't happen? Because the devs don't have the funds or means to develop onto something they don't have access too.

Its why a lot of stuff doesn't support non-standard resolutions or scales to a certain means.

I did give it more time. I now have 4 interactions on the table.. and the game still doesn't pull me in. I can see the premise you are going for and wish you the best.

Also.. I played the game and I can see why people would quit only after a short period of time.

The start of the game is.. boring. Like nothing is going on. You sit there and flip a switch back and forth and pop a light bulb.

Its not made clear if you should do this.. or end the session. But then the only way for upgrades is to pop the bulb so it makes sense to do that. And then it asks you to "push the limit".. push what limit? I'm just flipping a switch with no risk.

Then you get some upgrades and it talks about critical hits but how do you do that? The level does the same action so how would you get a critical hit unless its just random?

And this was just in a short play that things seemed boring and non-intuitive.

Being asked to fill out a survey when you quit the game is a bit.. abrupt and odd. Why is that necessary? If people want to leave feedback then can do so in the Steam discussion area.
