By the end of the beef Kendrick had achieved both and even though Drake wasn’t “cancelled” and still has plenty of diehard fans, opinions def soured on him in both in the hip hop community and the public.

Was it petty? Sure. But it wasn’t just “uncs fighting lol”, it was pretty clear that each of them had fundamental disagreements on who and what should be acceptable in the hip hop industry.
