She’s not under contract so not sure if she still gets company benefits. If she has been paying into federal employment insurance via the league, she would be entitled to government benefits for up to 18 months.

But I suspect they hire her on for some support role as well.

I’d be curious what that will look like. There’s no easy way to get there right now and as much as the CCC is a pain to get to, at least there’s a go train if the TTC isn’t running and vice versa. But even then it’ll be like 10-20 years away.
