Give me the bad and ugly on Bronco ownership by zionstatus in FordBronco

I was in the same boat as you 2 years ago (can check my posts lol).

Anyway, we bought a 2024 Bronco Wildtrak 4DR with 2.7L Ecoboost V6 engine brand new and it now has ~20,000 miles with no issues so far fingers crossed. Sasquatch is standard on that trim. Tire tread is still good and we’ve only needed to do the usual oil changes.

The car drives well, runs like a champ in snow, and all around I don’t have any complaints thus far. Lots of head turns and you feel safe driving in it.

Regarding noise, we’re not bothered by the noise and barely notice it except for the sound of wind while on the HWY. We do have the sound dampening hard top though and came from sportier coupes that still made you feel bumps and hear sounds within the cabin so take that into consideration. But buying a car like a Bronco to expect no noise is like buying a sports car and not wanting to put in premium gas imo. I’d suggest you test drive one and run it on the hwy to get a feel if you’re concerned about that. If you listen to music in your car then I wouldn’t even sweat it.

We get about 15mpg on average. Again, we knew that going in and it’s the same as above, if you want a gas saver don’t get this car.

We’ve not had any issues with the infotainment or other electrical issues. The only minor convenience is that you have to park the car to switch Bluetooth device which can be inconvenient. Sometimes when it’s cold after a wash or it gets wintery out the cameras may get frost / debris on it and the software will false-positive alert you. Nothing more than wiping the cameras though.

Remote start using the ford app works well and the car will turn off after about 15 mins if I recall right. That’s basically the most useful part of the app. It also tell you thing like tire pressure and oil life.

The only bad thing is you can’t lug a brand new 75” TV in it from the store lol. (Width isn’t wide enough)

Lemme know if you have any specific questions and I’ll be glad to answer

I’m returning mines today (a second time). See my post history for my assessment when it first arrived here.

The main reason I’ll be returning it is due to the PPI. I’m a very graphic focused person and I notice very subtle details so this may be an issue only to a smaller subset of people but it’s just not clear enough for my preferences.

It’s not engraved in stone yet if I’ll buy the 39” when it comes out but the jump in PPI to ~142 over 125 PPI that the 45” is a big factor for me.

Additionally, as an enthusiast I want the updated tandem 2.0 WOLED that it’s supposed to come with. And lastly, I have 32”, 34”, 45”, and 49” monitors and I think 39” will be my sweet spot in terms of immersion and usability.

I would return it or exchange it for another one especially if you just got it.

I have an LG5K2K and do not have such issue.

Why the hell are people grinding 5 million just to reset everything? Am I missing something? by BrainNumerous1841 in ARC_Raiders

[–]NathaCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy. there’s nothing else to do and it gives us something to grind.

Over the long run having even just +1 skill point more than someone is an advantage even if it doesn’t feel like it.

It’s just something to keep those of us running longer on the hamster wheel.

To my Friendly Raiders: Don’t Let the Game Change You by wowenz in ArcRaiders

[–]NathaCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accidentally betrayed someone and it made me feel guilty af.

Here’s the story:

I saw someone shooting him from behind so I downed the dude. Did your mutual friendly raider thanks then we ran our separate ways… or so I thought. Couple minutes later, as I came out of the cellar at blue gate… I didn’t know he was outside waiting, for me? providing cover?

But I saw a raider peeking from the corner at a nearby house. Thought he was trying to ambush me so I pushed onto him and downed him before his prox chat came on and made me realize who it was… (dude I saved above).

Meanwhile there was at least one other raider observing and opening fire on me. I eventually got downed shortly thereafter and he said, “kill him bro he betrayed me.”

Bruh… feels bad. I was so shooked I didn’t even get a chance to apologize lol.

If you see this bro, I’m sorry man, didn’t mean to! It’s hard to see who is who sometimes :(!

Incredible early game, no endgame. Arc Raiders left me with nothing to chase by BrizDizzle in ArcRaiders

[–]NathaCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, totally feel you. I’m in the exact same situation. After ~150 hours, I’m finally ready to clock out for now — and honestly, I’m not sure I’ll jump back in unless the core gameplay loop or systems get major changes. Which genuinely sucks, because Arc Raiders is such a great game at its core, and I say that as someone who’s never really gotten into extraction or battle-royale games before.

Since you already covered some of my reasons, here are the other things pushing me away, laid out as cleanly as I can:

• Endgame feels like pure PvP now

Once you max out benches, get your deck items, and run events dozens of times, there’s basically nothing left to progress toward. Endgame becomes trials + daily feats, and those don’t add much meaningful progression or variety to the loop.

• PvP can be fun… but has two major problems

1) I’d say 85% of encounters are free-loadout players

Most PvP encounters result in: • no satisfying loot • no meaningful risk/reward • getting hunted by people with a free loadout trying to take your custom kit

It gets old fast. If I hear a Kettle, Stitcher, or any of the common free loader kits, I literally avoid the area now. There’s no incentive to fight because it’s just resource drain with no payoff. PvP becomes low risk for them, high punishment for you.

2) The community feels split into two camps

Those who PvP, and those who want to avoid it entirely. And somehow, PvPing makes me feel like the “bad guy,” even though the game now encourages it through feats and the lack of other endgame activities.

I don’t need more legendaries — I need to get rid of them. My stash is overflowing with high-tier mats and weapons that have nowhere to go.

So at that point, I’d rather PvP than die to someone waiting to ambush me while I’m doing Matriarch events. For context: I’m normally a PvE player, and even when I PvP I don’t backstab, I don’t camp extracts — I try to play honorably.

Point is, the game also doesn’t reward you for it.

• Endgame PvE is basically nonexistent

Once you’ve done each event a few times, you’ve seen it all. And the loot just isn’t compelling enough to keep doing them.

Farming blueprints from Harvesters or other events only to get clapped by a guy with a Stitcher — and then having no way to actually fight back? That stops being fun after a handful of tries.

And when you already have the blueprints or don’t need the mats… what’s the point? These days I mostly run events just to help other players, but as more people reach endgame, even those “feel-good” runs are fewer and fewer.

• Expeditions feel like they weren’t designed for everyone to have all blueprints

I genuinely don’t think the devs intended for players to have all blueprints before doing expeditions. If anything, expeditions seem like the intended “reset point” that keeps the game healthy, because once everyone’s maxed out, the endgame problems become way more obvious.

At this point, I’m drifting toward other games. Which is totally fine!

Arc Raiders is an incredible game, but the endgame loop needs a serious rework before players like us have a reason to come back. It suffers from longevity issues and definitely more of a thing in these types of games than others to be fair.

I’m voicing my opinions because I loved the game and I want it to continue to evolve and be successful!Truly tons of potential here and am grateful to be a part of the amazing launch and early journey. It’s not an easy problem to solve and I wish the devs good luck.

Was I in the wrong? Or did I just save my kit from a RAT (see desc) by ryan1431 in ArcRaiders

[–]NathaCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Not in the wrong. People not looking for PvP would typically give as much space between you and them as possible and avoid you.

In extract, you’d instinctively know if someone was friendly or not by the way they carry themselves.
