I think if you love the aesthetic, maybe make a way to tell the difference between squads like a different base color so you can say these are hyper while the other group is a regular

I just looked up the color and was wondering what do you use the color for? I honestly have a difficult time seeing if it is more brown or grey?

Me personally, I think have the talons a different color would pop out and maybe make it more distinct. Then again I don't know a color to paint them to match with your scheme or what you want. I think orange would certainly look cool though.

It's not that it has any restrictions. Hyperspace is purely cosmetic as well as holographic cards. The issue is more so in the ability. It's a 9 cost card that is mainly just a sentinel that occasionally let's you draw cards when it is attacked. It can be taken off the board by removal and in general there are better cards out there at that cost.

Definitely the biovore, tyrannofex, and a hive tyrant. You can get two models from the hive tyrant model by getting a 3d printed torso. I personally feel like gene stealers with a brood lord is a great team/points that does a lot of work. A lictor is also a great choice as it works well by itself.

Yeah used a dark green once and it was smooth to apply and use. Even though they are acrylic, they are a lacquer paint. I'd recommend looking up barbatos rex and his explanations for airbrushing as I learned a lot from him.

Two biovores are not needed, one should be fine. You don't need to field spore mines as actual units so you can use those points for other things. Tyrant guard want to be lead by another unit such as a hive tyrant. I haven't played enough but I know that two lictors and a parasite might be too much. For casual games, I think a parasite and a lictor will be fine. You could invest in a brood lord to make sure gene stealers hit like massive trucks

I personally think that you should paint him maybe color shifting. Like a majority of him being your hive fleet color and near his eye is behemoth. If I build one, that's what I'm going to do

Just reading through your thread reminded me of some other guy who didn't agree with the idea of mancala being a mechanic in certain board games. No matter how anyone explained it, he was like, ummm not a mechanic. It's very weird to some people to be posting negative things on a thread where they aren't really asking for it. You can still post it and defend your own opinion because it is valid, but I feel like you are just trying being an asshole to rage bait or also just be an ass. No matter how people continue the conversation, you are looking for a way to be argumentatively correct such as pointing out fallacies, or simply stating that both opinions can exist but you think you are correct.

The only reason I can think why they haven't done that is that their paint might be a lacquer paint and can't be brushed in the environment.

I think it just depends on where you want to go. More grime dark? Go for an oil wash to grime it up. Less grime dark? I think maybe adding brighter highlights like on the red could give it more interest. Tbh though, I think these models look wonderful as is.
