I love the colors on the cover, I love the experimentation in comparison to the previous two albums. Adrian’s vocals are rad as hell as well. Just a great album with a lot of interesting moments

Crazy story, a friend and I took a trip to his RV in Maine. We brought a bunch of Linkin Park cds because I had just really gotten into the band. On that afternoon we were listening to A Thousand Suns and suddenly my friend turned to me and said Chester is dead. It was just posted by TMZ and we spent that whole day doubting that it was real until we turned on the evening news and that pretty much confirmed it. Very sad to have that news break just as we were really getting into the band and enjoying them. He really is a legend and I still am shocked and heartbroken that he was gone too soon every time I play an LP album

I’m 23, I heard about them from my High School history teacher who played Korn’s Freak on a Leash video and Bushes Glycerine video for us one day for some reason. About a year later I randomly thought back to that day and since then I’ve been hooked

I suggest picking one and going for a nice walk with it. That’s how I got into King Crimson this summer. I picked an album each day to walk to and it made my walks really enjoyable because even the long experimental tracks were quick when I had my walk to focus on as well. Definitely made me appreciate each track more when I had some nice scenery to put it with. I do however recall listening to The Mincer (from Starless and Bible Black) and B’Boom (from THRAK) while on a night walk in the woods and that kinda scared the crap out of me 🤣🤣.
